Second Trial
[Once everyone makes it the portrait gallery again, they will hear Randall's voice echo through the room.]
I'm not sure what everyone expected. There are a lot of children here and given the situation it was only a matter of time they started dying.
[Charming.
The floor descends once again as Randall begins his speech.]
Our tour begins here in this gallery where you gaze upon the sweet innocence of youth. Ah, but things are not always as they seem. Can it be this room is actually stretching? And notice this: this chamber has no windows and no doors, which offers you this chilling challenge… to find a way out.
Of course, there’s always my way.
[The floor stops again and doors open to the trial room.
At least the trial room doesn't look terribly different, although there are strange burn marks in the summoning circle now. And now, along with Mim, now Woody and Noby's podium has a lit candle and a voodoo doll resembling them (which is perhaps a little redundant in Woody's case).
Randall is already standing within the summoning circle, holding his stick with Facilier's head on it.]
Now then, I hope everyone has fun today.

VOTING TIME
Voting has commenced. You have all made strong pleas, and I have evaluted each of your cases. The volunteer whose name you shall be writing down is...
Jane Darling.
Anyone who writes down anything that is not the words “Jane Darling” will be executed as well. Have fun.

And...she knows what she has to do.
Slowly, she returns to her podium. Pricks her finger. Writes a name:

[If this whole thing has taught her anything, it's how much she truly is needed. These kids...she has to be here for them. All of them.]

Louis pricks his pinky finger (with far less screaming and yelling than last time) and hastilty scribbles down:]
JAINE DARLIG
[Then he whimpers and sinks below his podium.]

[He doesn't. He doesn't want to lose anyone else, but there are better ways to honor her than pointless gestures.]

It's not fair that she has to die for something she didn't do, and he said himself that he wanted to protect the other kids in any way he can....
But. All that's on his mind are those words "Was she a murderer? Who cares, they voted for her anyway." and it has him.. a little bit jumbled up.
...So Marco doesn't make a move to write anyone's name down. He couldn't really do it last time either, anyway. So someone might have to just.. do it for him.]

His penmanship isn't as perfect as it was last week as he writes Jane Darling with a hand that shakes maybe more than he'd like. He hates this. He hates this so much and his hands are tied.]
