...We're looking for someone with some mechanical expertise. That does not rule out "us animals". The smallest of us would be the most likely to need a trap such as this, as well.

Whoever did it needs to be big enough to lift a chainsaw and hang it from the ceiling. So it was probably someone bigger...or else more than one person.

[Rocket kind of looks like he's had a long night. Aside from missing the investigation entirely, he's sporting some truly ridiculous bedhead. The fur on one side of his face is entirely plastered down almost perfectly, despite his hasty attempts at personal grooming.]
