Week 5
[...So that was a mess. All of it was a mess, and things don't look to be improving any time soon. With tensions at an all-time high and conditions worsened, it seems pretty safe to say that this whole week promises a great deal of foreboding atmosphere.
But, hey, things aren't entirely bad. Just as Randall promised, you're now able to leave the Manor!
Just don't stay out there for too long. There's still a lot of you, and you just can't afford to lose numbers.
24 guests remain]
[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
[OOC: and don't forget to fill out this week's activity check!]

Oh, come on! You big baby. Who's ever had a shadow that's afraid of shadows? [but it refuses to budge, so she reckons she's going out there alone.
before she leaves for her walk, she stops at the door, examining the messages with a frown.] ... Claudette's dad was here, too. [this place is just stuffed with alternate reality Isle folks.
later on, during the dead of the night, anyone who happens to walk past the portrait gallery will see Freddie once again holed up in the portrait gallery-- except this time, she seems to be having a lot less fun. she has every flashlight she could find, turned on and pointed in every direction possible, flooding the room in light to the point where darkness is near impossible. in fact, you may be attracted to the room by noticing her shadow pacing the walls near the doorway, frequently pausing at the edge with what may look like concern.
she's just sitting there. holding a flashlight. staring forward.]
Portrait Gallery
Oh. There's someone there. It's Freddie, sitting in the middle of the portrait gallery with a bunch of flashlights. That's not too bad, he supposes]
You're not going to stay sitting there the entire night, right?
no subject
If I leave this room, that thing will kill me. I'm waiting it out.
no subject
You're talking about the shadow outside?
no subject
no subject
Okay, don't panic, Freddie. Listen, you can't stay here. If you fall asleep here it'll catch you -- that must be why it's outside right now, it's waiting you to fall asleep here.
Can't you do this in your bedroom?
[You have like a billion flashlights! That should help keep the shadow at bay!]
no subject
No. I'll just not sleep. I've gone longer than a day without sleep before. I'll be fine. I'm fine. I'll wait it out.

Hello? Uh- Freddie's...shadow? [ yeah guess who she sees first ] What's going on?
no subject
it eventually decides on a pretty universal signal: twirling its index finger next to its temple. she's crazy.]
no subject
Freddie? You in here? [ she asks this and then immediately sees freddie herself, all holed up and that...boy, does not bode well. ]
no subject
Who's asking?
no subject
It's just me, it's Kimberly.

I am Groot?
Later that night
Especially when she starts hearing an unfamiliar voice calling out to her.]
Hello, can you hear me?
no subject
No. [doesn't mean she's happy about it tho.]
no subject
It's fine he can work with this.]
That's unfortunate. I guess I'm in the wrong place.
no subject
[rubbing her eyes even though she logically knows it's a dream and it won't actually help with how tired she is. she feels better doing it.]
Minnie's beau, right?
no subject
But yes, Minnie's my girlfriend. ["Beau"...?] She's not technically my Minnie, but I still love her!
