[...So that was a mess. All of it was a mess, and things don't look to be improving any time soon. With tensions at an all-time high and conditions worsened, it seems pretty safe to say that this whole week promises a great deal of foreboding atmosphere.
But, hey, things aren't entirely bad. Just as Randall promised, you're now able to leave the Manor!

There was no going to bed anytime soon and when he's done in the kitchen, he can be found in the foyer, placing new painted portraits of the deceased. He's had time last week to do at least half of the mansion's residents, but never accounted for it to be displayed this way. Tributes to their fallen.
As soon as he figured there was a way out, aka. an actual goddamned door in the room that wasn't there before, he gunned it. Might as well scout the area and get some fresh air outside. Only, outside was a lot worse. It's so cold...
He kept circling the mansion anyway, feeling someone or something was out there, talking? Whispering?]

He didn't expect a big, cold void. He barely stepped outside before deciding to not risk anything. Back inside! And try to ignore the fact they're completely trapped in some kind of eldritch dimension!
Rémy never checked the artist's studio for long, mainly because pretty much everything there is too large for him to use. Now that there's no useful new locations, he has to look for something to do. He has grabbed a crayon and drawn some shapes on a canvas. It...doesn't seem to be anything recognizable. Yeah, he can't draw well without seeing how someone else draws exactly what he wants to draw]
Maybe this'd go better if I used paint.
[He looks around, a bit helpless. There's paint over there, and a brush, but he's not sure if this'll work...it'll be messy if he does anything, right?
He also hangs out in the billiards room, having managed to take a few billiards ball to the table and rolling them around. Billiards is supposed to be played with a billiards cue, but yeah, he can't use those due to his size. So all there's right now is a rat running on the table, pushing the balls as strongly as he can and trying to get them into the pockets.
He's far from being a good pool player, but at least this is a way to exercise]

later on, during the dead of the night, anyone who happens to walk past the portrait gallery will see Freddie once again holed up in the portrait gallery-- except this time, she seems to be having a lot less fun. she has every flashlight she could find, turned on and pointed in every direction possible, flooding the room in light to the point where darkness is near impossible. in fact, you may be attracted to the room by noticing her shadow pacing the walls near the doorway, frequently pausing at the edge with what may look like concern.

Later, she can be found in Room 8 with the door open; she's sitting in front of the mirror with her hair freshly washed, trying out what looks like an extremely complicated braided hairstyle. She figured it would be a good distraction from all the confusion and sadness of yesterday evening, and you can only wear the same hairstyle so many times before it gets old. If anyone with long enough hair wanders in, they're liable to get the same treatment if they can sit still long enough.]

He plants himself in the foyer bright and early Sunday morning, voice booming loud enough to be heard in every room and wake up, you know, anyone who might have the slightest inclination of sleeping in past six am. [ After the trial, Basil had been stressed enough to make the brilliant decision that he needed to check up on Ratigan... who had then proceeded to be infuriating enough that Basil stormed out of the funeral gathering early--and then, just as he was getting over the sulk from that, he finally heard the news about the Negaduck vs. Mirror showdown and, well. Long story short, it's not until early Sunday morning that he remembers about pinOCCHIO'S PETS fuckfuckfuck.
Molly and Mabel are left hastily scrawled notes about whether they'd like to take in any of Pinocchio's pets--whoever's first to arrive will catch Basil scurrying around Pinocchio's room, looking for something in increasingly-unlikely locations. (Someone please tell him where Figaro went.) ]

[ Later in the day, Basil can be found near the slot machine with a small collection of items. He seems to have no interest in actually taking any back to his room: the glass has been pieced together enough to be identifiable as a former-shoe, the snow globe's sitting to one side, and he's idly flipping through the book while sorta-nibbling on the dubiously-named "gray stuff".
Are there better ways he could be spending his time? ...Maybe? To be honest, he's not sure what he should do. "Could" and "should" aren't exactly synonyms. ]

She has other plans during the day, but she decides to direct her energy to standing right at the entrance to the outside world. She's gathered a pile of bedsheets from her room and is tying a bunch of them together, forming a long rope.

voredeaten alive right in front of everyone's eyes, but the only way Marco had to contact Star was broken. He couldn't sleep friday night, he could barely sleep saturday night or sunday night either, so he's... exhausted to say in the least.But despite that, he promised Star he'd be okay, so he at the very least tries to act like everything's fine.
....so you'll find him earlier in the day in the kitchen, making something. But rather than finding him actually making it he's more like face down in a bowl of dough or icing or whatever he's attempting to do next, he's trying to make doughnuts and failing awfully at it, just snoring away.

He spends the day wandering aimlessly around the manor, trumpet from the music room in hand. Every so often, he'll stop and play a few notes, maybe even play a few bars of a song. He keeps expecting Mr. Arrow to show up and tell him to stop, but then he remembers, and then he feels a pang of sorrow for the bird...puppet...whatever he was. He was damn good at keeping order, even if it did seem unnecessary, at times.]

[Hiro washed Marco's clothes by hand in the sink, because he wasn't sure? If they were dry clean only or not? But also he wasn't about to chance it. They're dry now, though, so it's time to return them. Which is why he spends like two minutes awkwardly standing in front of Marco's door in the morning before knocking.]

[There's something new in the foyer. It's not entirely correct, because Hiro isn't a carpenter or a lacquerware artist, but he's pulled one of the tables to the side sometime last night and set a bunch of small picture frames along one side of it in a half-circle. In the center is a smaller canvas with everyone's names written in slightly illegible, but clearly carefully done cursive. A candle is burning in front of the canvas, because it was the closest thing to incense he could find and he figured that symbolically it was the same thing? It's also why he's set out a mask - Honey Lemon told him about Day of the Dead, once, and he sort of figures the sugar skulls do the same thing as kagami mochi. There's also food left out in front of it - Hiro sort of rotates it whenever he goes to get food for himself, but there's a selection of fruit in a bowl too. Sometimes there's also a glass of juice in front of Jane's picture.
Mostly, aside from catching him at his new project, Hiro can be found in the library. He, uh. He's not a big reader, really? But there's nothing new to map, so he has nothing better to do.]

[Later on, in their shared room, Hiro is just. Agitated? He feels like he should talk to someone about this, but realistically the person he would be talking to is - well, okay. MOTIVE: Pink Elephants On Parade
I see that a number of you have experienced The Other Side already. Terrifying hallucinations, bitter cold, the overwhelming belief that you’re nothing and that your creator abandoned you solely because you have no inherit value to their capitalistic worldview. It’s not very pleasant, I imagine.
[He dips a bubble wand into the champagne.]
So, for those of you who haven’t dealt with it yet, I suppose we can bring something similar here.
[Randall begins to blow a bubble - an enormous pink bubble that morphs into an...elephant. Soon, there’s one, there’s three, there’s five, there’s eight. Look out, look out!]
These pink elephants will be wandering around the mansion at random throughout the next week. Coming into contact will make you experience hallucinations - slightly more pleasant than the ones outside, mind you. But it’s your choice.
You can either go outside where they won’t go or stay in here where you can hang out with them. As always, mind you, they’ll only disappear once murder is committed.

At first glance, it looks like he’s just being cautious to make sure he doesn’t get trapped in a hallway with one of those stupid-looking elephants (they do remind him too much of the bubbles that filled Gravity Falls during Weirdmageddon), but when he reaches the stairs he grips the railing with one hand and puts the other on his back, grimacing as he picks his way up the stairs.
It’s no wonder he’s headed to the medical room. He pops a few mild painkillers and swallows them dry, then lays down on his back on one of the cots with a low groan of pain.]

The results of today's slots are a mixed bag, as they include another familiar set of clothes, but they also, uh. Well, those sure are two shotguns. ]

After the motive announcement... Well, last week was annoying, but Kim quickly finds the upside to it: Those unwanted visitors she could shove and punch. This group? Uh...
She's up in the artists' studio, gathering some paint for something she's drawing - more flowers, apparently they're on her mind a lot - when one of the rather large elephants trundles its way in. Okay, it stays on its side of the room, she stays on hers, fine, she can deal with this...
...until it gets a bit too close. Maybe it's because she's already wandered about outside, but she's a little on-edge and jumpy and, well-
Kim punches the elephant, and her hand goes right through it. Instantly, she knows she made a mistake.
So. Anyone who comes on in to get their creativity on will probably notice her, backed into a corner, eyes wide and unfocused. She'll calm down on her own eventually? But for now, she's...kind of having a bad time.
...Later on, when it's reaching evening, she can be found picking through the medical room cabinets, an air of frustration around her. She's kind of jumpy, so maybe don't sneak up on her, but you can definitely hear her grumbling, about stupid Randall and his stupid elephants. ]

She heads to the kitchen to make herself a cup of strong, hot tea with plenty of milk and sugar, and hopes dearly that she won't be bothered for at least a few minutes. Eventually, hunger gets the better of her, so she goes about making herself a sandwich with butter and jam and honey, too. And, hell, might as well make a few extra. If they're all going to be hallucinating, might as well do it on a full stomach.]

[It's around lunchtime, when a familiar voice rings through the hall from the first floor. He sounds anguished, his voice raising in volume every time he yells the same thing, over and over. It's coming from one of the bathrooms, should you investigate, and the door is wide open showing Marco standing in front of the mirrors, his eyes wide... a certain kind of edge to his stare.]
Call Star!
[He yells this again, louder and more desperate than before. Nothing happens as it's been this entire time, and it causes him to let out a frustrated yell as he drives a fist right into the glass-- cracking it cleanly. He rests his forehead against the cool glass where the cracks don't reach, and tears start to slowly trickle down his cheeks as he mumbles something to himself, something that sounds like an apology, vaguely.]
[Later that evening, after the initial shock and hysterics have dumbed down Marco is in the art room. He's still on edge, his chest feeling tight ever since his hallucinations and every time he sees one of those elephants it only seems to feel even worse. But right now, there's none in the art room, and he needed a distraction badly.
So he has a large stack of different coloured construction paper next to him, along with some scissors and tape. He's cutting out a long strip of paper from one of them, and next to him is an unfinished garland, only about five rings long.
He seems pretty halfhearted at his project though, not even really bothering to make sure two colours don't touch as he tapes his now finished red strip to another red ring.]

He managed to avoid the elephants for a day before he accidentally encountered one. He tried to hide, but after a while he touched one, even if it was just for a second, and that was enough. What he didn't expect was that the hallucination would have the form of Gustave. A very deformed and monstrous Gustave, but it was him, it was his voice, and...apparently it had none of Gustave's usual personality.
There is Rémy, pacing from side to side of the kitchen counter and apparently arguing with the air. He sounds very distressed, pulling from his ears and shouting]
I told you I'm not going to kill anyone! I don't care what you say, I'm not going to go and kill someone just because you tell me to do it!
[He knows it's a hallucination, but it still feels like his image of Gustave has been tarnished forever. Thanks a lot, Randall]

After that, he leaves his clothes in his room and goes to the casino. He plays around with the tables a little bit, and then fishes the three tokens for the slot machine that he'd found. He still hasn't worn the sweater that he got out last time, though it has pride of place in his room. "Goodbye Stan" is probably a little unlucky to be wearing in a murdercan, regardless of how lovingly it was made for him.
But eventually, curiosity takes over and he goes through the motions again. The DVD gets tossed aside (what's a DVD? Must be some kind of radio drama on CD), the voodoo doll gets a "yikes" and carefully set aside. And then the third coin goes in.
He ends up in the dining room, sitting at the table with a blue-and-white ballcap in one hand, completely dead to the rest of the world as he stares over every inch of the hat, running the fingers of his other hand over the stitching and the blue pine tree on the front.]
