Week 5
[...So that was a mess. All of it was a mess, and things don't look to be improving any time soon. With tensions at an all-time high and conditions worsened, it seems pretty safe to say that this whole week promises a great deal of foreboding atmosphere.
But, hey, things aren't entirely bad. Just as Randall promised, you're now able to leave the Manor!
Just don't stay out there for too long. There's still a lot of you, and you just can't afford to lose numbers.

[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
[OOC: and don't forget to fill out this week's activity check!]

It happened incredibly fast. I tried to catch you, but...
[But his reflexes got fucked up by the sheer shock of 'grandma might be dead'.]
no subject
Also fuck you Kit she doesn't have any grandkids.]
Understandable. I suppose we're both just lucky I didn't hit it any harder.

[Because then she'd really be dead, and so would he. He rubs the bruising on his jaw from where Stan and then later Molly hit him. It's being slow to heal, on account of they hit him hard.]
I think we're about even anyway. In terms of being hit.
no subject
Yikes.]
I'm sorry for that. For Stan. And...Molly. For the record, I don't condone it.
[Even if she'd absolutely been inclined to give Kit a good whap across the backs of his knees with her walking stick when she'd woken up.]
no subject
[Which he isn't going to think about because Cinderella isn't here and she is fine and it's FINE]
And Molly's a kid, she just... she hits hard.
[like REALLY hard]

[Her...cheeks feel kind of warm, being compared to someone's wife, when she and Stan are...whatever they are.
Leia chuckles.]
She might be a kid, but she's not a human kid.
no subject
Right. That's not really a thing where I'm from so I... forget, sometimes. There's a lot to keep up with here.
[And he feels like even now he barely has a handle on it.]

[Sorry, Kit. She's just. Like this.]
no subject
Yes. All... that.
What's it like up there?
[Out in space, he means. Which is not a place he ever imagined people could go.]
no subject
[Oh. Leia chuckles.]
Truth be told, it never gets old. It's vast, and infinite, and sometimes a little scary, but mostly? It's peaceful. Looking out the window and seeing all those stars...I miss it an awful lot.
no subject
Kit just kind of... swings himself into a chair. He's been standing awkwardly up to now but he feels just comfortable enough to sit.]
Have you seen a star up close?
no subject
Not a real one, no. You can't get too close to them, they're awfully hot.
no subject
Hot. Really.
I have to get through the library faster, I'm sure there are books on how that works.
