[...So that was a mess. All of it was a mess, and things don't look to be improving any time soon. With tensions at an all-time high and conditions worsened, it seems pretty safe to say that this whole week promises a great deal of foreboding atmosphere.

But, hey, things aren't entirely bad. Just as Randall promised, you're now able to leave the Manor! 

Just don't stay out there for too long. There's still a lot of you, and you just can't afford to lose numbers.

[There's a teasing tone to Marco's voice, but his face is absolutely red just thinking about that again.]

And honestly that was probably the worst kissing experience in either of our lives so I kind of want to, like, replace it with the memory of a better one I guess.

[That gets Marco to gently pull back from the hug, so Hiro can see his genuinely shocked expression.]

No??? Why would I have kissed anyone before? Who am I gonna be kissing, Marco? All my friends are at least four years older than me and that's illegal.

[Okay, Jane maybe. Jane would have been a good choice.]

I dunno! I figured maybe you had some friends your age from high school or something?

[look at them not ten minutes into their relationship and already arguing]

I graduated high school at 13.

[Not that??? He had???? Friends anyway???? But they still would have been four years older than him. He doesn't say it meanly, just like. A statement of fact.]

[He'd ask "but what about middle school or elementary didn't you make friends then?" but honestly he already kind of feels like he knows the answer to that.]

[Fun fact: Hiro's personality is partially a terrible defense mechanism against bullying. If you're small but you talk a big game and you can do karate? People still mess with you, but also they know you're not as easy of a target.]

[i'd like to say thats relatable but honestly the only form of bullying marco goes through is being called "the safest kid in school" despite being A Big Weenie

That gets a sympathetic look from Marco though, and he hesitantly reaches up to cup the side of Hiro's cheek with one of his hands. Very hesitantly because??? He's never dated a guy before he doesn't know how to treat him.]
