WEEK 2
[One week. One week spent in the Haunted Mansion, and nothing seems to have changed. The hinges still creak in doorless chambers, strange and frightening sounds still echo through and you still occasionally catch a flicker of candlelight out of the corner of your eye. You might be slowly becoming familiar with the mundanity of this communal life, and we've recognized that possibility.
Something has to give.]
[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
{ooc: Don't forget to turn in your week 1/intro AC! As per murdergame tradition, this begins our new weekly schedule - Tuesday and onwards are locked for the motive. Everybody's just working for the weekend.
Additionally, a few people this week are going to get tagged by...something. If you'd like to opt out of this, please let us know.}

Speaking of the slot machine, he's staying far away from it for now. Instead he can be found in the conservatory, reading from a particular thick book and occasionally taking notes in his own notebook. He's put off actually reading this thing, and he's still going awful slow on the off-chance he's exposed to something he'd rather not read about, but... but what if Ford wrote about him?]
... Leprecorn. I swear to god it's like he made half this nonsense up...

if someone were to happen upon him, and lean over his shoulder.]
...Is that the journal?

Ooh! Does that thing say anything about how we can get out of here?
no subject
I don't... I don't think so? Not so far. Can't imagine he'd've been able to predict this.
no subject
I dunno. There's been some pretty amazing stuff in that book. It's helped us out a lot. [wait] I mean, me and my friends.
no subject
[He holds up the page with the barf fairies. Like. Come on.]
I can't imagine this is goin' to help us much.
no subject
Ugh. Yeah, not unless we really need something to puke. [And. Just, no.]
But, it's really helped a lot, dude. Like, we found Ford's secret underground murder bunker with that thing.
no subject
[Oh. He knows what she means. He erased a lot of the stuff that took place inside it but he certainly remembers that it exists.]
It wasn't a murder bunker, it was a research containment facility.

Leprecorn? [Regardless of whether or not he was caught, Maui eventually spoke in a loud, booming voice despite their proximity.] I've fought one of those before.
no subject
You've --
You fought one? It doesn't exactly look like the fightin' sort.
no subject
It came at me with its... horn, swinging all wild. I had to protect a little -- a hundred little girls from it.
[#ThatHappened.]
no subject
... Right. You sound like a regular old hero.
no subject
There is nothing regular about me, little dude.
no subject
Pardon. I didn't mean to imply anythin' rude.
[The more polite he gets the less polite he is actually being.]
no subject
It's alright. Everyone around here is struggling with the whole demi-god thing. I'm a forgiving god, though, so I'll let it slide. No need to get smiting.
no subject
Well that's mighty kind of you, holdin' back your godly wrath and all. I will admit I never have met a demi-god before. Is that why your tattoos, ah...
[He holds up a hand and wiggles it to indicate 'that really distressing way they actually move around in a way that tattoos really should not do ever'.]

Did you get that from the study?

[He holds up the book. I mean, really? A leprechaun/unicorn hybrid? Barf fairies? The portal potty?]
You have to admit it's all a mite bit far-fetched.

[She stares. And then giggles. And giggles some more.]
That's silly.
