we're not coming home 'til he's dead
[ And he's dead.
The Beast is dead, and Gaston is celebrating. Immediately after the trial he goes to the dining room to decorate, using ideas from Louis' Mardi Gras party, various weddings he's attended, and his own hunting lodge as inspiration. There are candles on the centers of the tables, colorful banners and streamers draped around the room, and of course, antlers on the walls. The tables have tablecloths and real plates and cutlery. The only food available is meat, eggs, and beer, of course, but there's no shortage of any of it, and the meat at least smells amazing.
It's all surprisingly tasteful? At least until you look up to the banner above the buffet table. ]
[ And in smaller letters underneath: ]
THANK YOU PRINCE KIT FOR YOUR SACRIFICE
[ Everyone gets personalized, handwritten invitations shortly after the trial.

[She glances back towards Molly's body and gulps. She finds herself gripping onto Soos's arm a bit harder than intended, and any tears she's been holding back for the past couple of weeks are hard to fight back. Minnie takes in a deep breath and looks up towards Soos, trying to find the right words to say.]
He deserves everything coming to him-- but not at the cost of someone else's life, Soos! I don't want to see something happening to you, too...

[If Minnie is paying attention, she might notice Soos' arm shaking and a couple of tears pricking his eyes.]
She didn't do anything...or Jane...and Pinocchio's wasn't his fault...
[And shaky breathing time!]
no subject
...They didn't deserve this. Nobody does...
[Inhales.]
I-It's not fair, and I don't want you getting yourself killed over this, Soos!
[she doesn't know how much longer she can handle this. she's not good]

So, he'll slump down to the ground, feeling defeated.]
Fine. I won't do it.
Let's...let's just go.
[He doesn't wanna look at Molly's body anymore than he already has.]

[For both of them, she wants to say, but she holds herself back on it. She can't help but to look towards Molly's body again, before turning her attention up towards Randy and narrowing her eyes at him. She takes in a deep breath, tugging Soos out of the room along with her.
When she takes him out of the room far enough, she eventually lets go of his arm. She finds herself looking at the floor, not making eye contact with him.]
...This isn't fair....
no subject
It...really isn't. Not at all.
And that's why we need to fight back. Maybe not by fighting him, but at least by making sure none of the rest of us die.
no subject
[She takes in a deep breath, having to take a moment to compose herself. She doesn't want him to be seeing her cry again - she didn't even want to let herself cry at all, actually.]
But I have to admit it's...really hard to stay optimistic, now. Anything could happen at any given moment and it's just...
It's hard!

[Soos thinks about how he can make Minnie feel better, and he manages to think of something.]
Think about Mickey. He wouldn't want you to die here, or any of your other friends from back home. If you think about them, then...you might feel a little better.
no subject
She already knows about the fate of one of her friends back at home, so she can't help it when her lip quivers at the thought of Goofy. However, she shakes it off quickly, and gives Soos a small smile.]
Y-Yeah... I wanna make it out of here--
I wanna get out of here so I can see Mickey, again. I miss him so much...
no subject
Well, then, just try to stay calm and think about Mickey. And I'm gonna do the same with Melody. As long as we think about them...I think we could get through this.

[She giggles, clasping her hands over her mouth.]
...Um, sorry you had to see me cry like that. I don't like others seeing me that vulnerable.
no subject
[Don't mind him he's just sending a fist to the ceiling like he's some sort of anime character.]
Hey, it's no big deal. Sometimes people just need to let themselves cry. It'd be more weird if you didn't cry at all while we were stuck here, really.
