Week 7

[Well this is all starting to feel incredibly routine. After being trapped here for a month and a half with no sign of rescue, maybe you have just resigned to the idea that you'll never leave this place and that people will keep dying until none of you're are left.

Truthfully, I can't even pretend to make an optimistic about any of this. it's a dark and horrid world you all live in.

There are no new floors today. It seems you finally have access to the whole mansion.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to side with Hiro on this one and it's not because I'm biased.

[Marco huffs a little as they carry him.. why is he so heavy...]

Also who gave him a gun in the first place? He's a giant goat demon suffering from hallucinations who got someone killed in cold blood and also nearly killed all of us in the process.

Oh, come on, that was only supposed to kill Negaduck, and we all know he deserved it.

Also, isn't he from another dimension? Not sure how common guns are in different dimensions.

[Do you even lift Marco cause Soos is carrying this body just fine.]

He obviously knew it was a weapon, so maybe the moral is we don't give weapons to people who are hallucinating things like . . . whatever causes you to draw a target on your own face and try to shoot it.

[Which, given what he was seeing the other week, he's pretty sure has to be a special brand of Awful.]

First of all there aren't any guns in Mewni. It's like.. an old timey medieval kind of dimension with magic and a department store that people have probably died in from getting so lost that they never found their way out.

Also yeah, what Hiro said. We should honestly just ban all weapons from this place besides Saba because Saba is a cool dude.

[He does not wanna die because he looked for extra strength ghost heads in the wrong isle.]

And, yeah, that's good point. He probably shouldn't get to have that gun anymore.

Not sure how a ban on weapons could help, though, at least considering how...things went the first time.

It'll at least keep us from accidentally shooting each other because we're hallucinating? Like, what if he had shot at an actual person?

I'm just saying the less weapons we have the better. We need to start promoting a little thing I like to call "Safety" around here.

I just meant with the other weapons. We should probably throw the gun outside or leave it in a locked room or something to make sure no one uses it again.

I guess we could still try, though. Better to at least try to make this place a little safer.

Also, heads up! We're gonna start going up the stairs.

Doesn't he have a chainsaw too? Why does the goat who's hallucinating have so many dangerous weapons?

[Hiro actually decides to be useful while he's complaining, coming around the side to support Lekmet's body while they're going up the stairs because he has free hands.]

[Marco looks down at his feet as they start moving up the stairs, so he doesn't trip and make this situation worse somehow.]

Should someone, like, go into his room and search for weapons? I'm starting to get a little worried not gonna lie.

Yeah, we should probably do that when we're done taking him to the medical room and making him feel better.

I think they might be some of the things that come from that slot machine in the casino. I think Rocket got a shotgun from there too, once.

[Almost to the second floor! Just a little bit more.]

Of course they're from the machine. [He would rub his temples, but his hands are full of goat.] For every kind of okay thing that we get out of there, there's like twelve terrible things.

Ugh, if only there was a way for us to get rid of that machine somehow. Or maybe we should just baby proof the entire place, y'know? Foam all over the walls and furniture and our bodies.

[Marco says that through a wheeze, as they get up to the top of the stairs.]

Yeah, tell me about it.

[He's really thinking about just up and hiding the slot machine somewhere it won't be found or something.]

If you find enough foam for that, I'm definitely willing to help with something like that.

[And as they get to the second floor, Soos is going to gently set Lekmet's shoulders on the ground.]

You need a break, dude? Sounds like you're having some trouble.

Isn't foam for soundproofing? Whatever, switch with me, stupid.

[Hiro gently hipchecks Marco. Let him carry the stupid goatdad. It's not like he hasn't carried stupidly heavy things before.]

He's like, a seven foot tall goat demon and my arms weren't made for lifting heavy things okay!

[he feels like this is bullying but fine!! He'll move out of the way and take Hiro's place instead.]

Oh come on, you do karate! Shouldn't something like that help build muscles or something?

[And up Lekmet's shoulders go as Soos starts heading toward the next flight of stairs.]

Some karate probably does, but it's mostly like yoga for boys.

[By which he means 90% of the time you're doing kata and practicing forms rather than, like. Flipping dudes into the mat. Weirdly, for someone who looks as noodly as Marco does, Hiro seems to be having less trouble.

He does lift, actually. Even if it's just stupidly heavy armor and metal prototypes.]

Hey, karate is more than just "yoga for boys"!

[He takes offense to that, Hiro. How dare you and your apparently strong muscly arms.]

But I mean... yeah. There's a lot of forms and kicking and punching but it's not like you have to be a big beefy swole guy to know karate. The point is that anyone can learn it, even annoying little brats like Jeremy Birnbaum.

[There goes his idea of having Marco flip him onto his back as some sort of test.

Let me guess, Jeremy is the local annoying kid that just won't leave you be and always has to bother you for some reason?

[If he had a dollar for every one of those that he knew, he'd have at least two dollars. They'd probably get taken away, but he'd at least have them for a little bit.]

Or is he that one white kid who's in your karate class whose parents basically pay for him to get belts but he's actually garbage at karate and everyone else dreads having him as a partner because all he ever does is cry if you win?

He's the white kid who's parents pay for the dojo and pay for his stupid private lessons and he cheats using brass knuckles during matches and he follows me around to annoy the crap out of me even when we're not at practice and the worst part is he's younger than me so I can't even justify punching him in his stupid face!

...okay, first I should tell you that we're gonna start heading up stairs, so be prepared for that.

Second, how many bratty kids just decide to straight up use weapons just to make themselves look better than others?! It's like Gideon's cousin that prefers brass knuckles over lamb shears.

[What's next? Some kid Hiro knows that gets to use a flame thrower?!]

The correct thing to do here, Marco, is to hack into his social media and change all the passwords and emails so he can't get back in.

[No . . . No, Hiro. That's the opposite of the right thing to do.]

He's probably too dumb to have a hard password. I bet I could do it in half an hour, maybe.
