Sadly, you’re still stuck here, but something inside you is nagging at you to keep your head up. This late in the game, nobody has to be willing to resort to murder.

[Allene had brought a knife and fork to this floor and was scraping it along the ground. She was peeved at Randy okay.]

Raaaaaaaaaaandaaaaaaallllll, come out and plaaaaaaaaaaa... [She trails off. That don't look good.]

[Stan doesn't go out of his way to avoid anybody but, well, there's so many people gone now that it's not hard to be by yourself, either.

Still, if you want to find him, he's up crazy early (so early you'd be forgiven - and probably partly right - for thinking he hadn't slept) in the gym pounding away at the punching bag like it did him a personal wrong.

After his morning workout, he throws his shirt and jeans in the wash and goes back to his room to shower and change into his black slacks, button-up shirt, and a hideous pink sweater that says UNIVERSE'S GREATEST GRUNKLE in multicolored patchwork letters. After that, he heads to the kitchen to cook a big-ass breakfast, his usual offerings of bacon, eggs, and pancakes. There's a stack of pink pancakes with colorful sprinkles in them in the shape of pig faces, a clear Peace Offering if ever there was one, so unless you're a 13-year-old girl who loves pigs and sprinkles approach at your own peril. Luckily, there's plenty of normal pancakes for everyone else, too.

After breakfast he heads to the Casino because he's got a handful of those token things. By and large what he gets is dumb, more "DVDs" (whatever those are), a pile of melted wax, a snowglobe, a pen shaped like a carrot (pocketing THAT for later), and a plate of sugary-sweet fluffy doughnuts one of which, learning nothing from his girlfriend's lessons about taking food from strange slot machines, he immediately shoves in his mouth.

Luckily, the beignets aren't poisoned, so at least there's that.]

Casino

[For some reason, Soos keeps coming back to this slot machine, despite thinking about just stopping from getting anything else from it. Maybe he's starting to have a problem of some sort? Or maybe it's just the fact that there's nothing else to do with these coins? Whatever the reason, he's back in the casino to see Stan near the slot machine with-

That thing gave you one of those candy bowls from the Summerween Super Store?!?

[He books it to the bowl and can't help but stare at it, a look of awe on his face.]

[ After the party, Basil had spent another few hours wandering about. He didn't have much reason past wanting to postpone an unpleasant task just a little longer. He eventually gave in and went back to his room. He never had checked who was on his motive-photo. He hadn't wanted to know, even if the possibilities were very limited.

After the trial, he knew who he'd find, but he... he needed to confirm it. He couldn't not check, not at that point.

Basil doesn't leave his room at all today. His door's slightly open, but the only sounds coming from inside are the rock and the baby hurricane puttering around. ]

[Here comes goatman! He's been feeling like an ass lately, and decided to stop by his room with some food.]

Hey, Basil. I've been thinking and I need to apologize for-- Basil? You in there?

[For a second there he thought the room was empty besides Noby's pets]

MONDAY

[Allene's in a pretty decent mood today, all things considers. She's got a little bit of a skip in her step, albeit not enough to overcome the general overwhelming atmosphere of the mansion. She can be found generally wandering around in the morning with some toast and a glass of milk in hand. She feels like exploring for clues again, although she doesn't expect to make much progress.

She can later be found in the artist's studio. She's really more of a tech whiz, but she feels like she should express artistically more. Next to her easel is a well-done, albeit cartoony and blocky, drawing of Jyn surrounded by light and flowers. She's currently trying to make this really abstract piece about identity and personhood. There's currently just a dot on the canvas, as she flicks a hairtie on her wrist thoughtfully.

Jyn's jacket hangs on the back of her chair as well. She'd been wearing it earlier, but she really doesn't want to stain it while she works.]

[ Jyn's in a good mood today! She seems that way, anyway. For one thing, for the first time since arriving here she has her hair down all day, so that's already new, but she seems very. Pleased.

She spends a fair amount of time in the library, actually, reading... a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Mostly nonfiction books about Earth and Earth Stuff. Animals, cultures, customs, et cetera.

Later she heads to the kitchen, where she works on... she's baking something? Looks like brownies. She seems to be getting the hang of it, and is just... munching on some nutella toast while they're in the oven.

Her last stop is the gym, where she actually... doesn't use the punching bags, she just does a lot of standard exercises. Stretches, laps, all that good stuff. Allene's jacket, which she's been wearing all day, sits off to the side to make sure it stays safe. ]

[ Early in the day Basil can be found in the kitchen, fiddling with the stove. He's seen other people using it, he sort of knows how to operate the thing. Can't be all that hard. (There's nothing set up to cook though...)

There's also a bunch of brightly colored sand scattered all over the floor? It seems there was been a raid on the less-used arts-n-crafts supplies recently. Noby's pets are frolicking in the mess, Spinny making patterns on the floor or flinging the sand through the air, with Rocky alternating between eating the sand and just scooting around.

Later on, Basil's in the art room, trying to sketch something. He knows he's no artist, but he's a bit frustrated with his results all the same. He's not sure if the problem is his inexperience or the fact that every pen, pencil and paintbrush that he's found are significantly taller than he is.

[Today, despite the fact that things might be starting to get better, or that others are feeling better, Soos is just feeling terrible. For several weeks now, he'd been so hopeful, so believing that someday, hopefully soon, Wendy, Ford and the others from their group would come in rescue them, before anyone else would die.

But...they've been stuck here for almost two months now. He could try to still be optimistic, try to stay happy with the little things like he did yesterday...but he was really starting to lose hope that they would ever find them. And if they couldn't be found...they might just be stuck here forever.

So for most of the day, he'll be in his room, being very sulky and moping, and unlikely to come out unless someone knocks.

But, during the night, if you're near the bar, you might hear some light crying coming from there. Very sloppy, slurred crying. And if you listen even closer, you might hear him say something.]

TUESDAY

MOTIVE: Flower, Gleam and Glow

[A high-pitched voice instructs everyone to gather in the stretching room, and when they do, a “new” face appears. He’s ghost-like, with tinted blue skin and matching attire. It’s just that it looks dumb because...y’know.]

Hello, fri- [wait shit that was the randy voice gotta get a few pitches higher, more papyrus less ratigan, cough cough] Welcome, Foolish Mortals! I am your ghost, your Hatbox Ghost, or as one might say, your new host! Your Hatbox Ghost Host. [its clearly just randy in a different suit]

Randall Rech is dead! I am the new Randall R - new host! So I am here with a motive for all of my frie - enemies. You all are my enemies. Yes.

[Envelopes are distributed from a hatbox. Enclosed are pictures of an event in your character’s past.He smirks.]

Should you kill someone this week, you will be entitled to fix your greatest regret! Most of you have made mistakes - I know Gaston has, so why not do something to fix ‘em? It doesn’t necessarily have to be the one in the photo, I’m flexible.

[Well after that motive is handed down... you’d think you’d find Stan in the gym, wouldn’t you?

Well tough titties, that was Sunday’s top-level.

No, this motive requires some liquid coping mechanisms, by which I mean by evening he’s in the bar with a more-than-half-empty bottle of whiskey and a shot glass. The envelope sits on the bar in front of him, unopened, the “Stanley Pines” on the front burning him like a brand.]

[God, Hiro wants to set the stupid envelope on fire, but he also knows fire will probably? Give him a panic attack? So you know what? He can be found in the kitchen, because tt's motherfucking BLENDER TIME.

Today we find out if the following items blend: a Voodoo doll of Frollo, his motive envelope, and a bottle of paint from the arts and crafts room. There's no reason for the last one, he just wanted to make things interesting.

Later on, he can be found in the library, reading a particular book.]

WEDNESDAY

[First thing in the morning Lekmet does is head to the gym. He's way too scrawny for brute force, so he forgoes the punching bags and equipment and starts warming up by flying. It's about, what, two months in his murder hole? He's gotten a bit better at flying inside enclosed, relatively tight spaces, partially due to his fear of the Outside. For an old goat, he makes up his weaknesses for flight speed!

Later on, he manages to set up a ball pitching machine. It's to test out his aim mostly, since he doesn't remember the rules to baseball.

One. Miss. Two. Miss. Three. Miss. This goes on for a long while with some lucky hits in between. If anyone comes in at the right time, they might find a fiery baseball missing their head by inches and embedding itself on the wall. Geez.

The supply room is his next destination. He's...he's actually not sure what to do, so he's going to town on a bunch of wood slabs with his chainsaw. Maybe he can build a table to replace the broken one Gaston fell on some afterparties ago. He should probably see if there's a book in the library on how to maintain a chainsaw because he's keeping it for good.

Much, much later he's looking pretty drained, claiming a corner in the Coffee shop. He's drinking coffee right out the pot and nothing else. If approached by his table, he'll strike up a convo or few.]

I have an idea but not sure how to proceed with it right. We should give everyone some non-lethal weapons to defend themselves with. What do you think? Too much? Too weak? How about armour for less accidents?
Maybe hand everyone a baseball bat or two. Bats don't kill, right?

[Mabel is doing something new this week; she's still working on her crafts, of course, but they're not for the living this time. Instead, she's been carefully - way more careful than most people who know Mabel may think she's possible of being - making little yarncraft versions of all their dead friends. The only one she won't be making is Negaduck, because who cares about that big jerk.

Knitting decent-looking dolls of everyone is a lot harder for her than making scarves or sweaters, due to the amount of focus and detail needed for such work, so she hasn't finished everyone yet, but there's still a few piled next to her. Beast, Kim, Marco... and in her hands, two dolls connected together by held hands, incomplete but looking a lot like Freddie and Ariel if the colors are anything to go by...

Later, when she finishes up her work for the day, she stops by Hiro's shrine to lay each doll by the picture of each dead friend. She might have to rearrange it a little bit to make sure Freddie and Ariel are next to each other, but oh well. It'll look better that way, so she hopes Hiro will understand!]

[ Another day, another day where Gaston isn't president. Things sure are boring now that there are so many fewer people around to annoy bully intimidate visit.

Gaston spends the morning in his tavern, eating the beignets he'd won from the slot machine and guarding the bar against any further drunk Sooses.

In the afternoon, he ventures for the first time to the art studio, his other new possession in tow - the head from a certain princely statue. If you guessed that Gaston is spending his Wednesday painting Eric's head to look like his own, you are 100% right.

Lemew accompanies him all day, purring and sniffing around Gaston's boots. A few beignet crumbs might be all right, but someone please make sure he doesn't eat the paint. ]

THURSDAY

[Louis hasn't been doing much this week, what with all of his negative emotions being suppressed and all. Wine tasting and cheese munching have gotten boring, so he has resorted to a different coping mechanism--being impulsive.

In the morning, Louis can be found in the wax museum, marker in hand as he scribbles on the statues that have miraculously remained intact after all these weeks. He's drawing whatever comes to mind, adding mustaches and monocles and the like. Occasionally, he scribbles a few words on their bodies, such as RANDI SUX or LOU WUZ HERE.

Later, if one makes their way into the kitchen, one may notice the refrigerator door slightly ajar. Louis is lying on the ground, eating some ungodly combination of pickles, strawberry ice cream, bananas, and grape jelly. It's as if he just took the first four things he saw in the refrigerator and put them together. His expression is unreadable as he shovels it into his mouth.]

[ Jyn's hair is still down by Thursday, but her mood is more... contemplative. She heads to the garden first for a little while, sitting among the less-than-pleasant flowers and writing something down.

Later on she heads to the library, where she's picked out uh... a book of Shakespeare plays, apparently! And she's reading through... ah. King Lear. That's a choice.

Later on she's in the bar, sitting around and just kind of... looking contemplatively at that crystal some of yall might have seen around her neck now and again. If she hears someone come in, she'll quickly set it down. ]

[About early to mid-evening on Thursday, anyone on the 4th floor (and probably on the 3rd, at least, lbr) will hear a creak, a crash, a yell, and a heavy thud.]
