ENDGAME GROUP 1: Hellscapes (Log 1)

[The initial groups have begun to disperse, and Ghostave and a group of stalwart young heroes remain seated right where they are.]

One of the things we’re looking for is supposedly in The Underworld. I intend to use this opportunity to speak to Hades as well, about his intentions.

...As well as find this “other box” that he seems to have so casually mentioned. Do we have any questions before we venture forth?

[it's, still fucking weird hearing anyone, let alone a prince, call him Monsieur. Hearing it still to this day takes him back to the tavern on that night. "Ask Monsieur LeFou. He was there."

But he daren't correct a Prince, so he just looks up from the letter, and then considers the question.]

"Club 33?" Actually, it does sound familiar. When we were trying to escape the mansion, we found a... "receipt." From how Mike and Wendy described it, it sounds like it's like a bar tab that was written down.

So there was a bar tab from hell in the mansion from your ritual and Hades has it marked on his map...I feel some of us may need to make our way there.

Well, maybe not chess pieces, but they're about the same size and sculpted into odd shapes. Vaguely familiar ones too.]

[LeFou is a little bit shaken but he goes up to the Prince at the table and looks over the table with him.]

Oh! This one looks like Monsieur Lincoln. And that one is... Our host. He ran our ritual for a while, and then he snuck out of the underworld to assist the next group.

And you all congregated together at the mansion. [Hmmmm.] Were you there the entire time after your ritual ended? [Because if so that sounds real weird.]

...[Opens mouth. Closes it.]

Ah... Not exactly. Monsieur Walt rescued our group - that is, what was left of us. He brought us to his home, "Main Street."

But not long after the next group of survivors joined us, Main Street was attacked and...

[He picks up poor Monsieur Abe's little figure, turning it over in his hand.]

Ford's ex- ah, partner possessed Monsieur Lincoln and used him to murder Monsieur Walt. After that we went back to the ruins of the mansion. That's where we watched the ritual that you were in, Your Highness.

...I'm not surprised he knew where we were, Hades was there when Main Street was destroyed.

[He looks at the war table again, looking for any other figures that he recognizes.]

Is Hades playing war games?

Something like that. It seems to be an entire map of this place and this- [He points to the squares.] Looks important. Monsieur LeFou said his group found a bar tab from this place [Club 33.] during his ritual.

[She points at that second box.] We could find the others quite easily, if it's where this is saying it is. And then perhaps check out this club.

I assume it is. [He nods along, his eyes scanning the board again and look a little closer at the second box. What's there?] That's what I was thinking as well.
