[A week has gone buy, and nothing really horrifying has happened. Sure it's a crappy amusement park but no one's dead yet! While you're scenario is not great to be in, but you have people to bond with, "fresh air", food, and free Moron Mountain merch! So maybe you have fallen into a sense of security, content to hang out in this terrible theme park until Swackhammer decides to let you go because everyone is too boring for his park.

Otis, your Ginj. [Otis literally only remembers the animal names. Everyone knows humans don't need real names.] I'd say you can call me "cow," but like. We both know that's just stupid human talk.

[She feels a twinge of guilt for the fact he actually remembered her name and she couldn't return the favour.]

It's nice not being the only farm animal here, in spite of it all.

[How she wishes they were both free animals.]

[Old habits die hard, and for all Otis is kind of lackadaisical, he is still the head of the farm. Honestly, he kinda worries about how they're doing without him, but he's sure Abby can take care of it. Probably.]

Right? I'm also kinda glad we don't have to pretend to be regular animals here. Like, I guess we should, but Bojack and Fizzy kinda let that cat out of the bag.

Having more than just a fenced-off run to walk around in, being able to eat whenever I want and having more options than just chicken feed - and not having to meet an egg quota...it's the freest I've ever been.

[Ironic, considering they are trapped here to kill each other.]

Oh man, you have egg quota? Farmer's always been really chill about that stuff, but we've heard horror stories about other farms. [It's part of the reason he didn't want Daisy to move back.] You should totally come back with me, if we ever get out of here! Farmer won't notice.

...You really don't have to worry about that?

[She can't even begin to conceptualize it. Just thinking about that place fills her with dread.]

I appreciate the offer, but I can't. I'm not leaving without the rest of my coop.

We can bring all your friends too. [Otis seems super unconcerned about where the fuck they'd put an entire coop of chickens.] Our hens are all really nice!

You'd really do that?

[She's touched by it, and it shows.]

That gives me something to look forward to by the end of this, and one less escape plan to come up with.

Sure, I mean. Ben always told me I'm supposed to look out for people and make the farm a safe place.

[He maybe, uh. Hasn't been doing so good on that front! But this is a good time to make up for it.]

If your farm sucks as much as it sounds like it does, I'd be the worst if I didn't tell you that you could live with us.

Well, like. I can't promise you won't die ever, but Farmer never kills any of the animals. He's too old and soft for that, honestly, so when someone dies we bury them in the graveyard.

[They took care of the wolves, so it's fine.]

Honestly, I didn't think farmers like that could exist. Or - humans like that, at all.

[udderly]

I mean - I'm not gonna say you don't have to lay eggs or anything, because we do all have to do our part to keep the farm running and stuff and eggs help pay for repairs but there's no quota or anything. [Honestly, you could probably also just not and Farmer wouldn't notice but.] It's more of an exchange, you know? Farmer keeps us fed and housed, so we pay - what's the human word? Rent? The one where you pay money to live in a house, for some reason.

That sounds like a pretty nice setup you have there.

[She's not jealous, just kind of wistful.]

You're lucky to have him.

Yeah, we're pretty lucky - that's why Farmer's always taking on animals from other farms. We had a couple cows from a neighbor's farm for a while - Bessy stayed, but Daisy moved back home to raise Lil' Ben.

[He misses Lil' Ben, somtimes.]
