[A week has gone buy, and nothing really horrifying has happened. Sure it's a crappy amusement park but no one's dead yet! While you're scenario is not great to be in, but you have people to bond with, "fresh air", food, and free Moron Mountain merch! So maybe you have fallen into a sense of security, content to hang out in this terrible theme park until Swackhammer decides to let you go because everyone is too boring for his park.

Oh. [Yikes.] He just... kicked him all the way into the sky? That seems really extreme. I mean, he was a baby. He couldn't have done anything that bad.

He was walking around on his own and wearing a suit. I suspect there was something going on with him.

I think there's something going on with everyone here.

[Thank the spirits that Kubo is a human and a world that is almost normal. The malevolent spirits are expected, some of the magic is unfamiliar, but overall it makes the most sense to her.]

I dunno, a couple people seemed pretty normal on the bus ride. But then I saw the information they had listed about everybody here and now I'm not really sure anymore.

The number of animals is what threw me off initially.

I know some people who were cursed to turn into animals. It's not that uncommon, I guess. The baby is what made me think something weird was happening. And the green man.

Where you're from, it's not uncommon. Animal spirits stay in the spirit realm, and I'm not qualified to see one.

The spirit realm? I don't see what that has to do with animals.

I heard many spirits take the form of animals. They never venture to our world - the one where I live, that is - unless someone with spiritual power calls them.

I had initially thought everyone that wasn't human was some sort of spirit.

Really? That's cool. The only talking animals we have are the ones who have been cursed, I think, but... maybe the people in charge wanted us to be able to talk to each other or something. I mean, they all seem to insist that they're just regular animals.
