[Well finally deaths are starting to happen in this hell park, and for the amount of shitposting this round is, I'll admit I'm pleasently surprised to see how determined people are to make sure this doesn't happen again.

... Not that it'll matter of course, but it's the thought that counts.

Still, once you wake up on Saturday, you'll find that a new land has opened up! It... sure is a new land, at least?]

Laundry Room what's one more thread

[ walks in, looks at this scene ]

Oh dang, you have laundry detergent soap parties where you come from, too? Sweet!

[treefetish]

Well, on TV; I don't have any parties. But, on TV it's always, "Oh, we're all out of detergent now, we better go buy some more O'Hare Detergent!" And then the rest of the episode is about that. So fun!

[oh_worm]

Huh. Sometimes at the secret hideout we just make the laundry machines do this and dance, or like... this happens by accident and we turn it into a party instead, that's how it went down the first time. But it's no fun if it's just one person!

[treefetish]

Then make it two! [gestures around her] Plenty of suds to go around!

[oh_worm]

Heck yeah! We only have one laundry gadget back at the base, this is a rad collection of suds.

[ grabs some and throws them up into the air ]

Without music is a little tough, but we can still party!

[treefetish]

I'd help out with that, but trust me when I say it's best I don't.

[she's been kinda trying to form some sort of shape on a particularly large pile and goes back to that]

[oh_worm]

What? No way, you definitely gotta! I bet you're better at this dancing junk than I am.

[treefetish]

Oh, gosh, no way. I have two left feet! My mother always says I got too tall too quickly to ever be elegant.

[oh_worm]

Psh, there's no judgement in the laundry soap party zone! Give it a shot! I'll dance too, so it's not a big thing.

[ A beat. ]

But also be careful of the soap, that's a very real flaw in laundry soap parties, but I'll do my best to catch you.

[treefetish]

[a moment of visible uncertainty...]

... Okay, but you better not laugh!

[she closes her eyes, a bit out of nerves, and starts to do what could be most generously described as one-man ballroom dance as done by a gawky teenage girl.]

Cross my heart, and other various parts of my insides!

[ And not only does this second teenage girl not laugh, she joins in as best she can! She is not very good at even club dancing, but!! This is happening. ]

[despite an overwhelming lack of talent to be found here, they do manage to get on for a little while without any major calamity. but, the suds continue to build, and as conditions worsen it's only a matter of time before Audrey loses her footing and goes skidding into Beth's direction.]

[oh_worm]

[ Oh no! Truly laundry soap parties are the most dangerous parties of all. But Beth does, true to her word, catch Audrey! Even if the momentum kind of sends her against the wall. But the impact should all get absorbed by Beth, so it's all good??? ]

Oof! You okay?

Am I okay? Are you okay? [DIDN'T THAT HURT audrey is used to bruising like a peach] Oh, I just knew it'd go wrong somehow...

[oh_worm]

Aw, it hurt a little but I'm good! I don't have these Bravest Warrior muscles for nothing. [ what muscles, beth, you're a noodle child ]

I guess that's maybe a liiiiittle too much soap for a big laundry soap dance party.

[treefetish]

[politely does not point that out]

I went a little bit overboard, huh? I was just really bored.

[oh_worm]

It's cool, the second phase of a laundry soap party is usually chilling and enjoying the bubbles.

[ She grabs some and fashions them into a rough mustache. And in her best Manly Voice: ]

They're very versatile!

[treefetish]

[a snort of laughter]

Do you and your friends do things like this a lot?

[oh_worm]

[ Back to her normal voice: ]

Spontaneous parties happen more than you'd think when you live in an invisible robot with your three best friends, a rainbow bear, and a... well, Catbug.

[treefetish]

You have such an exciting life! [space travel and cool plants and more than one friend] It must be even worse to be cooped up in here.

[oh_worm]

I mean... I don't think anyone here would call this exciting, but with this many peeps to chat with it's not so bad. And look at us, having a rad two-girl soap party!

[treefetish]

That is a big point in its favor. [a laugh] I'm glad I met all of you, even with the danger. I've never met people before; everyone back home just knows everybody else. It's really nice.

[oh_worm]

And I do a lot of meeting people and not a lot of long-term knowing them. Honestly, I have exactly one friend outside of the base. Spending time with new peeps like this is rad.

[treefetish]

Hopefully we'll meet even more people after all of this is over! I'd really like to show you guys Thneedville, even if you'd all probably have to wear gas masks.

I've put on a gas mask or two before! And there are some planets I should definitely show you.
