WEEK 3
[Well finally deaths are starting to happen in this hell park, and for the amount of shitposting this round is, I'll admit I'm pleasently surprised to see how determined people are to make sure this doesn't happen again.
... Not that it'll matter of course, but it's the thought that counts.
Still, once you wake up on Saturday, you'll find that a new land has opened up! It... sure is a new land, at least?]

[The danger hadn't crossed her mind at all. Whooops]

[Aw, she wanted a tornado!]
This park doesn't even have basements. If it's as big as it could be...we wouldn't even be able to hide.

He makes a noise that's probably agreeing.]
And I'm starting to feel like this place follows the logic of someone with a bad sense of humor.
[Someone who would think it's funny for her to be sucked up by her own tornado, he means.]

Dog food instead of cookies, severed hands, this machine...I dunno if we should blame the die guy, or the gross park owner.
[Heck, maybe both of them are responsible for this terrible sense of humor]
no subject
Either way, whichever one of them is responsible, the other one is complacent.
[So he's perfectly happy loathing both of them.]
no subject
You know, since making a tornado machine is a bad idea, maybe we could try making something else, something useful.
no subject
...Very well. [He crouches down to the ground to examine the pieces more closely, sifting through them as he muses,] There must be something we can salvage from this.
[Maybe they can make a grappling hook. Or at least a shank.]

[He falls quiet, and for a moment, it seems like he's going to leave it at that. But then—]
It might be possible to sharpen a piece of metal, at least, if you want a way to defend yourself.

[Although she knows he's right, that without tools it's unlikely nothing good can be made, it's still worth a try]
To...defend myself? I dunno if I should have something. I mean, nobody would try to kill a kid...right? That'd be messed up...
[She may be holding onto a bit of hope on that regard, yep]
no subject
You would be surprised what some people are willing to do, given the right incentive.
no subject
[She looks away. A part of her always knew he was right, that with the right incentive they'd be willing to kill a kid. Kids are easier targets than, say, Aquaman or Dinobot. If someone attacked her...
...]
...you know, maybe you're right and I should have something.
[It feels so nasty to admit it]
no subject
Even if you aren't concerned with being attacked, it's a useful tool to have regardless. You never know when having something sharp might save your life.
[...Listen, he can't help dwelling a little on that time he had to cut off his own hand to save his child from being murdered, given the turn this conversation has taken.]
no subject
[She sure hadn't planned to be in situations where something sharp might save her life, yet here we are. Oh joy.]

[He's doing his best to keep his mind on non-malicious cutting situations at this point, but.]
