[Yeah alright that settles it. Goodbye, guitar, he's setting that thing down on the floor so he can better keep up with whoever's running. At this point he's not sure if it's someone who was up to something or just someone trying to lead him on a wild goose chase, because, honestly, he wouldn't put either option past anyone here.]

[The figure looks back a little, but quickly snaps his head back before Kubo can get a look at their face.

They finally reach the exit door, but they seem to be struggling on it a little.]

[Well now they're just deliberately trying to be shifty about things, which only serves to make the situation more irritating. With a frustrated grunt, he rushes for the door, only half-registering that he's got an extra bit of time as they seem to struggle for a moment.

Even if he's not sure he can catch them (much less what he plans to do if he does), he shouts at their back.]

Seriously, what are you doing?

[The figure finally manages to open the door and they call back in a masculine sounding voice.]

"None of your business!"

[And he runs out the door and slams it behind him.]

What? Yes it is!

[...Okay, it's really not, but. That's not the point.

He knows full well he's yelling at a closed door, but he yanks it open once he reaches it anyways, looking both ways on the off-chance he didn't entirely lose the figure.]

[The figure manages to wrench the door hard enough that it closes and locks. Sorry Kubo, maybe another day!

He can still hear them, however. It sounds like they're panting and coughing hard now that they're away from Kubo.]
