[She thinks hard on it. She can't feel any malice towards Kubo, but...what if he was someone else? She focuses hard on replacing him with the image in her mind, of that horrid woman, looming down on her...

With a yell, she strikes hard at him, with righteous chicken fury.]

[Okay honestly he wasn't entirely expecting that from Ginger so. It kind of catches him off-guard, enough that he yelps and stumbles out of the way before his brain catches up with the situation and he swings low to block it.]

That was good!

[But one swing isn't enough in a sword fight, and he's already raising his own weapon back up, albeit without much force behind it. He's practiced enough to block fairly decently, but he isn't really sure Ginger can say the same yet.]

You block this time. Same as I did. Except without the yelling.
