[It's been about a week since Wonka picked up a probably-cursed talisman from the back room of a weed dispensary / occultist worship room. But until now, he hasn't actually... looked at the damn thing all that closely.

So you might find him examining the talisman, wondering about its secrets.

If he has the time, he might try to peer into the back room of the weed dispensary again, too. Just to see if anything's different from the last time.

He'll also be investigating/exploring around the carnival; usually around whatever food they have available so he can critique the quality of the candy, but you may find him by the fortune teller tent.

Wonka's not a huge fan of the crystal ball. You might catch a glimpse of Grandpa Joe in the hospital, Oompa Loompas repairing the factory post-bus, and worst of all- the hospital and damage bills.]

Ohhhh, this better not turn into a lawsuit.

Yes, those are the Oompa Loompas. They work in my factory.

No- I found them, on a different planet, and they came back with me.

[How does Wonka understand her completely? Who knows]

Something probably cursed that I found on an alter worshiping the god Hades.

[Wonka is not a responsible man, and he immediately hands it to this young teenager to examine.]

Where was the altar? I can't really imagine either of our captors as the type to worship gods...

The weed dispensary, in the backroom. So I'd have to assume it is one of our captors, unless there are other staff we haven't seen.

Huh... I never even thought to look there... [mostly because she had other shit to think about in that room but whatever]

What sort of god is this Hades? I've never heard of him.

God of death and wealth, I believe. He runs the underworld in Greek mythology. This version of him looked... very different from most interpretations, though. And talismans like that one aren't associated with him normally, so far as I'm aware.

If he doesn't usually have talismans, what is this one supposed to be? [mentally deciding how fine she is with the idea of this necklace killing her if she tries it on]

Definitely. And I'm not surprised at all if it turns out our captors are the ones worshiping him.

And I have absolutely no idea. Why don't you try it on?
