But he's... never been that close to a corpse before. He managed to keep his distance from the others. And now there's two lifeless bodies, snuffed from their time, together in death as they were in life. Its kind of poetic. An image of two do-gooders in an evil world, trying their best.
He feels like he should do something.
With a mental note to wash his shoes, he finds himself hopping on top of Wander (ew) to get a look at the wound. Sylvia's as well, if it isn't blocked from sight.]

He tries to lift up his arms for a sec to see beneath it but, at his strength, its not gonna cut it.]
...Anyone want to help, uh. Remove these two? We need to see the damage.

We have to find out what killed them. Okay? [He's trying to sound calm and rational. He's the conscience. He has to be reasonable 100% of the time.]

[Despair is setting in with this one.
But she does drag herself up and over to look at them again.]

And now, they're both lying here dead, in each others arms. Appropriate, if nothing else.
This day already sucked, and Wendy knew it wasn't going to get any better.
....She needs air. She steps back from the bodies for now, choosing to give the room a good once-over instead. Anything out of the ordinary?]

It hurts.
Wendy bends down, carefully picking it up and turning it upside down. Anything inside?]

The hat seems to be frowning, oddly enough.
However something else is very close by to the hat.]

She holds onto the hat as she notices something beside it? If this is another body, she's gonna lose her mind.]

But it appears to be a smartphone.]

But this... huh. Out of everything she would have suspected to see at the crime scene, this was, ironically, not one of them. And this time, it's even something that she knows.
She picks it up, of course, and like any teen she tries to turn it on. Maybe it can work? They can be lucky sometimes, right?]

She flips it open to the main screen, looking for any signs of who this phone may have belonged to.]
