Week 3

[Three people are dead in the span of one day. Two of which did absolutely nothing to deserve their gruesome deaths. Hopefully, no matter how silly this hope is, it's the last of the deaths in this hotel.

But maybe it's not all bad now? When people awake this Sunday, they will find that the door for 225 is now open, and for some reason leads to a bunch of cool new rooms to explore! Maybe this would be a great opportunity to bond over each other to make sure no one else dies again.

And no one else will die again, right?

Whoa! That looks like something out of some kind of kids show. [The electric bolt is pretty neat.] Is it yours?

It was! My first costume. It looks kind of silly now, my current one is much better.

Your bio did say you were a superhero... Is the new one made of material that's better at conducting electricity? Or is it more of a dampener? Wait, can you still be electrocuted?

It's more of a dampener, but not for electricity. Had to deal often with someone who used fire a lot.

[As to the other question]

I think I'm kind of immune to that? I once used myself as a conductor for normal electricity even though I didn't have access to my powers and I felt nothing.

That would make sense. Go for something that would weaken any attacks by your main enemy to ensure survival chances. Like Superdude and his bullet proof suit!

[Which Virgil can guess his world's equivalent of just from that name.]

So even when you're reduced to a normal human level, you're still super human... [Don't mind if he whips out a notebook and writes this down.] I always had a theory about that in regards to superheroes who have elemental abilities.

Exactly, like...Superdude? [He supposes it's some hero he hasn't heard about before. Could be!] Anyway, it's like that.

What, you meet lots of heroes or something?

You would actually be the first, but I love comic books and stories. I've met a lot of weird and strange creatures and people back in Gravity Falls, but none of them could really be called heroes.... Except maybe my grunkles, Soos, and Wendy. They were pretty heroic during Weirdmageddon.

The Weirdmageddon...what's that?

Exactly what it sounds like. Armageddon but with the weirdest things imaginable in the universe.

If you and those people you mentioned fought during that, there's no doubt about it, you're heroes. There's no 'maybe' in that.

[He hadn't expected to say anything so encouraging -- especially when it doesn't seem like Dipper needs to hear any of that -- but Virgil said it anyway]

[Oh gosh. That does put a bit of what could be almost a shy smile on Dipper's face. Being called a hero by a superhero? That's not something everyone can claim has happened to them!]

You really think so? Mabel would love to hear that.

[May as well hear about what kind of life everyone else in this hotel have back at their worlds! Family is a good way to hear about that]

She's my twin! She's the older of the two of us. Wears colorful sweaters, most of them she made herself. If something can have glitter on it, she'll put glitter on it. Her favorite sweater though is one with a shooting star on it. She's also got a pet pig name Waddles that she won at a fair in town after a bunch of time changing shenanigans.

[Oh boy... he looks a little sad now.]

Every minute I spend here is the longest we've ever been apart.

[This Mabel sounds like such a sweet person it's no surprise Dipper misses her. It's sad, that's for sure]

If you're so close to her, then she must be looking for you right now. Who knows, she may have better luck finding you than anyone else.

[It's said twins have some sort of connection, who knows if that's true]
