Week 3

[Three people are dead in the span of one day. Two of which did absolutely nothing to deserve their gruesome deaths. Hopefully, no matter how silly this hope is, it's the last of the deaths in this hotel.

But maybe it's not all bad now? When people awake this Sunday, they will find that the door for 225 is now open, and for some reason leads to a bunch of cool new rooms to explore! Maybe this would be a great opportunity to bond over each other to make sure no one else dies again.

And no one else will die again, right?

[SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]

{ooc: Don't forget to turn in your Week 2 AC by 10/18 @ 1PM EST! There also might be... something tagging around this week. Please let us know if you would like to opt out of it!}

Well... Rod Serling has been dead since the 70's... It could be his ghost.
hallotween: (for the throne)

[personal profile] hallotween 2017-10-18 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
[gravely] Rod Serling would not do this to us.
sneezelikeakitten: (♠ Grunt)

[personal profile] sneezelikeakitten 2017-10-18 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
.... you're putting way too much faith in an actor.
hallotween: (getting pumped up on)

[personal profile] hallotween 2017-10-18 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
Nobody would do this to anyone! Even the most evil guy I've ever met would probably have just tried to kill us all already, not have these weird mind games!
sneezelikeakitten: (♠ No)

[personal profile] sneezelikeakitten 2017-10-18 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
I helped defeat a bad guy who would probably love this place.
hallotween: (yeah)

[personal profile] hallotween 2017-10-18 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Really? [pause] A whole lot of us have defeated bad guys. Probably more than the average.
sneezelikeakitten: (♠ Feed it up a knock)

[personal profile] sneezelikeakitten 2017-10-18 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
.... his name was Bill Cipher. He was a dream demon, shaped like a triangle with one eye. He would love this place and would probably try and help run it by making it more "exciting".
hallotween: (let's go down to the tennis court)

[personal profile] hallotween 2017-10-18 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
See, there you go! Demons. This whole place has "otherworldly" written all over it.
sneezelikeakitten: (♠ No)

[personal profile] sneezelikeakitten 2017-10-18 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
But there's more to this than just demons! Rod is a ghost. He seems like he's just a level one, maybe a level 2 at most.
hallotween: (I'll be getting on my first plane)

[personal profile] hallotween 2017-10-18 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
Why would he be a ghost? Ghosts don't even really have exciting powers or anything! They're pretty normal creatures. No, it's definitely demonic.
sneezelikeakitten: (♠ It starts with an earthquake)

[personal profile] sneezelikeakitten 2017-10-19 09:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, ghosts can have powers! Most ghosts don't, but the higher on the scale they are, the more powerful or unique they are. I fought a level eleven that was able to curse people into becoming trees.
hallotween: (killin' it)

[personal profile] hallotween 2017-10-20 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Scale? Ghosts don't have levels like video games--

[pause]

We're talking about entirely different systems, aren't we.
sneezelikeakitten: (♠ And aeroplanes)

[personal profile] sneezelikeakitten 2017-10-20 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe? I just know the scale back home has never been wrong.
hallotween: (but my head's filling up fast)

[personal profile] hallotween 2017-10-20 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
Things work differently in different places, right? Like how tornadoes sometimes spin in different directions depending on if you're north or south of the equator. Maybe dimensions are like that, too.

... Of course, that means there's a pretty good chance that whatever the Narrator is, he's something none of us have dealt with before. [and that. sucks.]
