[Five deaths in one week, and almost half of the guests have died now. The Narrator is now claiming that the man who's trying to save all the guests is a cold-hearted killer, and he doesn't seem to be lying about this. But on the other hand, that doesn't explain why he continues to do any of this, or if he's even an entirely good guy here.

Whether you like it or not, tension is becoming unusually high in this hotel now.

But hey, at least you get a nice new floor to tide you over.

[Around 2PM, The Narrator is indeed in the chapel, waiting for everyone. Strangely, he seems just a tad nervous, looking around as if someone might be watching them. Regardless, he keeps a level head when everyone (or everyone who cared to come) arrives.]

Good afternoon, I hope that your day has treated you well.

[He moves to close the chapel doors.]

I’ll cut to the chase about all of this. I called you here for one thing and one thing only:

I want to help you escape.

Okay, fine, let's suppose we all decide to follow you because we all got impromptu lobotomies or something. [Sorry for the nasty comment, Narrator, Virgil still doesn't trust you at all] How exactly are you going to help us escape?

I know I can get you out of the hotel, and from there it's just a matter of finding the exit. The problem, however, is that it's not exactly safer out there. You will all need weapons if you want to make it out alive.

[Sally crosses her arms disdainfully. This would've been nice a week ago maybe!]

After half of us have already died. It really took that long.

[Yup. There's Belle, still a little red-eyed around the edges, standing toward the back and crossing her arms with a glare that could eat through steel.]

I was just thinking about last week, when Stitch tried to attack Chip and he stopped it. Maybe he really is sick of it all.
