[Another week another set of bodies, and now, the guests aren't the only ones dying in this hotel. At this point it seems as though something is attacking the nonguests of this hotel. What's attacking them, however, no one seems to know. But surely you can all find out before more people die, right?

No new floors open up this week, but people will find on Sunday that the locked door on the first floor is now unlocked. It's a good time as any to see what's behind it.

[she doesn't really drink coffee or anything, but, hey-- there's ten people left. if you see somebody hanging around by themselves, you go talk to them.]

Oh, not much. Just debating on who here would be the most lucrative to bring back from the dead is all.

When you say "lucrative," you mean...? [THIS IS WHY YOU TALK TO PEOPLE]

Who would have been the most beneficial to have back among the living, of course. As you can see, Northwest would be of no help to any of us here.

[hallotween]

Duh. He's no use to anybody.

... Who do you see as the most beneficial? [beat] And why is this a Sophie's Choice situation to begin with? If we're bringing people back to life, wouldn't we bring all of them?

[lusito]

Are you saying that you actually want Preston back?

[Even Josh doesn't want Preston back, and he was friends with Ursula...]

I mean, I don't count Preston as people, but, yeah? How many other people are you planning on abandoning in Hell, and why isn't the answer "zero?"

Because even I don't like Preston?

[And that's saying a lot from Joshua here.]

Lots of people outright hate Ursula. Are we leaving her, too?

[lusito]

[That actually gives him some amount of pause.]

From a moral standpoint, that would be the right thing to do, seeing as how she did commit murder here.

[... But Ursula was fun to talk to.]

To hell with rightness. I'm not leaving here if she isn't.

Either we all go, or none of us go. That's the only fair way to do it.

[And that, for some reason, gets a giggle out of Joshua]

I think most would disagree on your definition of "fair", Marnie.

A lot of people disagree with me on a lot of things! This is how we're gonna do it when the time comes, and that's that.

You still didn't give your top ranked person, you know.

... As in who sits at the top of the list to be brought back to life? So far, I'd say that it's Vanellope.

[hallotween]

Huh. [unexpected...] Why?

[lusito]

She was the first one to die. Therefore, she's the person we have the least amount of information about in comparison to the others.

[hallotween]

And that's a benefit, in your eyes?

[lusito]

Of course: not only am I curious to know more about a person I didn't get a chance to become acquainted with, but if we're able to guide her soul back here, then guiding the others will only become easier from there.
