[Well that was a busy day, huh? But despite all that, a good majority of you are reasonable people, and are smart enough to find an escape without resorting to deadly violence. Maybe if you put your heads together, you'll find a way to get out of here! After all, the host is practically in shambles already, what can he do?

The whole first floor of the manor is open for your leasure now, with the only change being that there's now a set of rules in the foyer hanging on the wall.

[She inclines her head.]

That's right. It hasn't been easy, but...to me, the well-being of the people I've sworn to protect is much more important than my own comfort.

[bayoublues]

Dang. That's...wow. You gotta have some sort of fun, or else you'd lose your mind, right?

[He can't imagine having that much responsibility over anything--he's a simple gator who wants only a simple life.]

Let's say this war of yours ended. What would you do after that?

[hasit]

[Leia chuckles.]

In theory, sure. Let's just say that this is the most fun I've had in a long while.

[Which isn't saying much at all.]

I...honestly couldn't tell you. I'd like to think I'd find somewhere to settle down and live out my years, but who knows. I'm sure I'd go stir-crazy living the quiet life.

[bayoublues]

Being...trapped in a weird manor and being told "your job is to kill each other, good luck"? You have a weird sense of fun.

Maybe you could travel? That's a more manageable adventure in itself. My friend's been all over the world and back again, and he wouldn't have it any other way!

[hasit]

Well, compared to being chased around the galaxy and hunted down like animals? Yes.

[The idea of travelling, though...that's nice.]

There are a few places I'd like to see again. Endor...maybe go back to Tattooine and Naboo...

[she's mostly talking to herself now it's fine]

[Louis flinches a little when she says that. He definitely knows what it's like to be hunted--when it comes to the South, everyone and their uncle owns a gun. And most would definitely prefer the bayou to have fewer gators.]

Heh, those are funny names. Are those other planets? What're they like?

[hasit]

[She chuckles.]

That's right. Other worlds. Well, let's see. Tatooine is a desert planet. Hot and inhospitable. It's where my father was born. Endor, that's a forest planet. Lush and beautiful. And Naboo...It's idyllic, is the word I think I'd use. Beautiful cities, but also swamps and hills and fields.

[bayoublues]

Ooooo. Naboo sounds sorta like where I live! It's a city called New Orleans, here on Earth. Got a lotta swamps and bayous, but it's more or less flat land. And the city is just teeming with life and music! You really only gotta worry about the mosquitoes, I guess. Oh, and guns.

[hasit]

That sounds like quite a place. [Leia's expression grows a tad concerned.] Guns? Has there been some sort of insurrection?

[bayoublues]

Oh, no, no, nothin' like that. [Pauses.] Well, maybe like, a hundred or so years ago? I don't know much about American history, but I'm pretty sure there was a revolution. And now everyone just has guns, I guess. For self defendin' purposes, I guess? Or maybe they just hate wildlife and would rather see it dead.

[really why do humans need so many guns for everything]

That sounds barbaric. I'm sorry you have to deal with that on your own home world.

[Not that she hasn't experienced quite a lot of the same sentiment, honestly.]

It's all good! Hopefully people'll see that wild animals don't need to be killed all the time and will stop tryin' to kill us dead.

It seems like a waste to kill animals unless you're that in need of food. Genocidal, even.
