Week 1
[Well that was a busy day, huh? But despite all that, a good majority of you are reasonable people, and are smart enough to find an escape without resorting to deadly violence. Maybe if you put your heads together, you'll find a way to get out of here! After all, the host is practically in shambles already, what can he do?
The whole first floor of the manor is open for your leasure now, with the only change being that there's now a set of rules in the foyer hanging on the wall.

[He's not particularly good at picking up on hints, but he can at least tell that Basil wants something.]
Come out with it, Sir. What is it that you want done?

I would like to take custody of the item myself. While keeping it out of the others' reach is a good start, someone also needs to keep an eye on the thing itself.
You cannot keep an eye on both the item and our fellow captives. It's simply logical for someone without conflicting duties to take over responsibility for the thing.

Of course, Mr. Arrow.
I really ought to start dealing with this "doll" as soon as possible--if you've no further need for my presence, I'll take both items back to my rooms.
no subject
By all means. Thank you for taking care of it.
[He gives him a dismissive wave. As Basil is almost out of the door, he calls out to him one more time.]
Do be careful, Mr.Basil.
no subject
Oh, certainly! No cause for concern on that account.
[ There are numerous causes for concern. ]
