Week 1
[Well that was a busy day, huh? But despite all that, a good majority of you are reasonable people, and are smart enough to find an escape without resorting to deadly violence. Maybe if you put your heads together, you'll find a way to get out of here! After all, the host is practically in shambles already, what can he do?
The whole first floor of the manor is open for your leasure now, with the only change being that there's now a set of rules in the foyer hanging on the wall.
Let the games begin.]

"Hello I'm Ariel! I can't speak, but it's nice to meet you!"
[There's another note under it that was clearly added later:]
"I was a mermaid and wished to become human! I had to trade my voice to do so."
[While Freddie looks at that, she looks at the collection on the table. Knives huh? Maybe that could help make everyone a little safer. She nods at her smiling and goes to grab them.]

why is this like. an endless parade of everyone she knows from Auradon's relatives, but younger and possibly pre-defeating the relatives of everyone she knows from the Isle? is this some kind of "would you kill baby Maleficent" situation?
whatever.]
Glad to have you down as somebody else who doesn't know how to make a good deal. [the more time passes the less she worries about dad's chances.]
no subject
...Oh. But there's too much to carry now.]

I seriously can't wait to see what your room looks like. Like, I haven't been this excited about something in weeks. [it's gotta be a fucking DISASTER]

Oh! She perks up again as she gets an idea. She flips to a new page in her journal to write a message.]
"How about a trade?"
no subject
[well. besides all the knives.
-- oh, right! she unclips the tiny hat from atop her head and holds it up to her.] Whatcha got for this?

Ariel digs through her things and pulls out a purple shell bra, offering it to her. Good enough?]

You got yourself a deal. [no one's ever gonna believe this.] Please doing business with you.

She looks to Freddie, pointing at it. Looks good?]

"Did I hear right that our 'host' is your father?"
[She's not judging. Just curious.]
no subject
Kinda? They're the same man, but not the same person, if that makes even a tiny bit of sense. My actual dad is probably sitting back in the shop wondering why I haven't come to dinner in about five months, not forcing people into combat.
no subject
Oops let's not think about it! Ariel nods to show she gets it the best she can. She kinda smiles at a thought she has and writes it in her journal to share.]
"Dads can be kinda the worst, huh?"
no subject
Having trouble back home, huh? I thought you good guys were all pampered princesses whose parents die early on to give you sad backstories.

"My mom died when I was really little, and my dad and I barely got along. He destroyed everything important to me... that's why I left the ocean."

she notices the pout, cocking her head to the side.]
... He'll come around, you know. Eventually. Some people are just real stubborn about things like that.
