[Well that was a busy day, huh? But despite all that, a good majority of you are reasonable people, and are smart enough to find an escape without resorting to deadly violence. Maybe if you put your heads together, you'll find a way to get out of here! After all, the host is practically in shambles already, what can he do?

The whole first floor of the manor is open for your leasure now, with the only change being that there's now a set of rules in the foyer hanging on the wall.

[Continues pulling books. At least until a particularly dusty one sheds a layer of dust right into his face, and then he has to frantically brush off his face and clothes.]

Pinocchio? ...Right, the puppet kid.

Oh, like a secret tunnel? [He nods at the comment about Pinocchio, leaning in closer to whisper.] You know, I think I've read a story about him before...

[Shrug. Secret tunnel, secret room, secret anything. Hopefully not traps, like he suggested to Louis yesterday.]

A story about him? Is he famous or something?

Well...it's more like a fairytale. For kids. But I didn't want to actually tell him, you know.

That's sort of famous. He wants to be human, right?

Yeah, and he does get his wish in the end...although I think he has to go through a lot of other stuff first. And I don't think he has yet.

Good reason not to tell him, probably. It'd creep me out if someone I've never met knew my entire life story before it even happened.

Yeah, same here! Although I'm not sure he'd even think it was weird... [He's one day old, he probably doesn't understand most social conventions.]

He might know of it's existence, but I don't think he regularly watched it

Beats me. I haven't even talked to him yet, so I don't know how he'd react.

Oh. Well, he's pretty nice! [Noby takes another look at the bookshelf.] No secret passages, then?

Nope. Just a lot of old books.

[The title of the one he just pulled out is Gangsters Of The Void. Sounds weird.]

I hope someone finds a way out of here before anyone does end up dying.

[He nods.] Yeah...at least it seems most people don't want that! So as long as we watch out for the people-or animals-who did like that idea, we should be fine!

Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll go after each other.

{There's something of a sarcastic edge to this statement, as if he doesn't really believe they'll pick each other off.]

[He looks a little shocked at that idea.] Well, um-that would still be kind of bad, I think. Because that'd still be doing what that guy wants. [Plus he really doesn't want anyone to die at all, y'know? Just put them in gay baby jail.]

Well, yeah...but I'm not going to be the one to try to convince the people who have already considered doing what he wants into NOT doing that.

[Self-preservation, he has it. Also he still doesn't really try to get into other people's affairs on a regular basis.]

...yeah. I don't think I could stop them anyways. Not without my gadgets.

I don't know if you could stop them to begin with. You're what, 11?

...ten. [Look, he has to admit that.] And yeah...I can't even stop Big G, most of the time. And he's the same age as me! [And much more buff for a kid, honestly.]
