[Well that was a busy day, huh? But despite all that, a good majority of you are reasonable people, and are smart enough to find an escape without resorting to deadly violence. Maybe if you put your heads together, you'll find a way to get out of here! After all, the host is practically in shambles already, what can he do?

The whole first floor of the manor is open for your leasure now, with the only change being that there's now a set of rules in the foyer hanging on the wall.

[Oh man, he's imagining it now and getting really worried himself. Plus he might be imagining being stabbed by a fork now.] Y...yeah...maybe it was someone who wanted to just hide the knives so it doesn't happen?

That might be true. At least if someone has all the knives, and, uh...if someone dies that way, we'll know who the culprit is?

Aw, jeez, I really hope that doesn't happen. Y'know how easy it is to trap and maim a gator?

...not really? There aren't any alligators near where I live... [And he's never watched Crocodile Hunter, unfortunately(?)]

[Where WERE all these people from. Half of them seem to have never seen an alligator.]

Ah...I see. Well, uh, we don't really move too fast, especially when it's cold, and.... [He pauses, thinking.] Where do you live?

Um...America? I...don't remember the exact town name or place... [He really did not pay attention in geography class.]

Okay, that's understandable. Well, I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana, so if you haven't seen an alligator before, you can't be from there.

[Yeah pretty much.] Oh yeah, that doesn't sound familiar. What's it like there? [Since...gotta have enough wilderness for alligators to roam right?]

Well, it's very flat and swampy. Seriously--can't walk half a mile without hittin' any sorta river or bayou. Blame that on the Mississippi River and the gulf. Got some real nice food and culture, though. Probably comes from bein' a port city.

You ever heard of macarons? They're delicious, and there's a ton of French restaurants and bakeries that provide 'em.

Oh...huh. [Thinking about a place with so much water is kind of weird to him. He looks thoughtful when asked about macarons though.]

Hmmm...I think so. There aren't any French shops near my home, though, so I haven't actually gotten to eat any...

Hey, if you ever come down and visit New Orleans, I'll hook you up with some of the sweets my friend makes! Just make sure it's okay with your mom.

[...now that he's thinking about it it's probably been much more traumatic for these kids to have been kidnapped from their homes and separated from their loved ones.]

Yeah, I do! And a dad! [There's a pause...] Huh. They must be pretty worried... [It's not like he hasn't gone off with Doraemon before, but if Doraemon isn't here...]

[Oh no he can't handle crying children he's gotta fix this somehow

He draws himself up, trying to seem more confident.]

I'm very sure! Our friends and family will do something about it! They wouldn't just abandon us if we went missing, right? So, somewhere, out there, they're searching for us, and they won't give up until we've been found!

[He's half saying it for his own sake, to boost his own confidence.]

[He nods, slowly.] I...I guess. Yeah! Doraemon is always there for me...so he'll definitely try to find me!

My best friend! He's a robot cat from the future!

You lost me at...well, everything. And you say he's your best friend?

...well, he's from the future. I don't really get everything that goes on then myself. But yeah, he's my best friend! He helps me with a lot of stuff!
