[Well that was a busy day, huh? But despite all that, a good majority of you are reasonable people, and are smart enough to find an escape without resorting to deadly violence. Maybe if you put your heads together, you'll find a way to get out of here! After all, the host is practically in shambles already, what can he do?

The whole first floor of the manor is open for your leasure now, with the only change being that there's now a set of rules in the foyer hanging on the wall.

Oh. Well, that seems reasonable. But I'd take care not to try and break down anyone's bedroom doors. I don't think they'd thank you for the loss of privacy.

Yeah, I'll be careful. I'm just gonna break the ones on the top of the stairs.

[hasit]

Well, better that than anything else, I suppose. I've been curious about what's up there myself.

[There's a pause, and then Leia's shoulders drop a little, almost in defeat.]

Do you...need any help?

[madeofpine]

[He visibly brightens at that, letting the handle of the ax drop to the ground.]

I do, actually! It's kinda heavy and I'm not real good at hitting stuff with it yet. I wouldn't wanna actually hit the walls and break the rules or anything.

[hasit]

[Leia chuckles, and comes over to bend down and take up the axe herself.]

I'll make you a deal: I'll help you get it up the stairs, but when it comes to the hitting, you're on your own.

Hm... yeah, I guess that sounds like an okay deal to me.

[hasit]

Good. I'll follow your lead, alright? Just take your time.

[madeofpine]

[He tries to keep his pace somewhat slow, if only to make sure Leia is keeping up alright, though she's likely doing far better than if he were the one carrying the ax around.]

You're pretty strong. Do you lift stuff a lot or something?

[hasit]

[That gets a hearty chuckle out of her.]

Truth be told, I'm much more accustomed to carrying a blaster gun.

How's a blaster gun any different from a normal gun?

[hasit]

Well, instead of projectile bullets, it shoots light energy.

[Yknow, just explaining weapons tech to a small wooden boy, it's Fine]

So it... burns people?

[well now he wants one]

......In a way, yes.

[it's fine it's not like he would set himself on fire]

That's cool! I've seen regular guns and I've been burned, but I've never heard of a gun that could burn people before now.

[hasit]

....Well, now you know!

[yikes.

Leia gets the axe the rest of the way up the stairs, and then holds it out handle-first for the wooden boy to take.]

Alright, kid. It's all you.

[madeofpine]

[He glances between the handle of the ax and the door several times in silence.]

.....Are you sure doors don't count as part of the walls?

[He knows Very Few Things, but he does know this: destruction of property = fun! breaking rules = bad]

[The best she can give him is a shrug.]

Generally speaking, no. But I'm not promising the owners of this place are going to differentiate, either.
