[You wake up and almost instantly notice that the thumping has stopped. Maybe a wave of relief washes over you or maybe you’re confused, but one thing seems immediately clear, it doesn’t seem like the monster is here anymore.

The problem is that something also feels deeply wrong when you wake up. Sure, nothing is wrong with the bedroom you’re currently residing in, but as soon as you leave the comfort of your bedroom it should be abundantly clear that something happened last night.

[A little uneasy about the sudden silence, Pinocchio decides to check the billiards room. Maybe it was slight paranoia due to Soos mentioning that someone could definitely be murdered with a cue (thanks, Soos!), or maybe it was just the odd feeling he'd been greeted with when he left his room, but he'd rather be safe than sorry-- might as well go confirm everything's where it ought to be.]

[Whoa hold it there Pinocchio, not so fast.

As he heads for the stairs, he will notice someone lying down on the floor.]

[It's a miracle she managed to fall asleep at all last night, but when she wakes up, she realizes immediately why. The thumping and roaring has stopped.

That can't be good.

She gets up, dresses, and goes out into the hallway, bracing herself for more destruction like last week.]

[ Oh kriff. Alright, Jyn's going to go through the casino towards the foyer! ]

[Well she might notice something on her way to the casino...]

[ ...Okay, that's bad. Kim had intended on staying up all night to guard against the monster, this is. Actually really worrying.

She decides to go and check out the music room first. ]

[The silence that greets Louis's ears when he wakes up comes as a relief, at first. But then he realizes the implication of this, and a new wave of panic sets in.

He's going to very cautiously make his way to the music room, as always, trying not to think about it too much.]

[He would be happy about getting a decent rest if it weren't for the implications of it. With a sinking feeling in his stomach, Arrow goes to check out the bar just to make sure there were no instances of alcohol poisoning the previous night.]

[Okay, clearly it's monster hunting time. Rocket's armed and ready, hefting the shotgun he got from the slot machine; now heavily modified, one of the anulax batteries wired in near the back of the stock, an occasional arc of electricity sparking at the end of the barrel.]

[He's gonna start the day by poking around towards the dining room and kitchen.]

[Once Louis recovers from his fainting spell, he scrambles to make his way upstairs, away from the body, and trying to collect himself in the bathroom.

[Stan leaves the investigating to people better suited to it. But it doesn’t look like anything happened in the kitchen, so he starts a full pot of coffee and boils some milk on the stove.

There’s coffee for the grownups, and hot chocolate for the kids, and the first people to come claim some get to help spread the word.

He’s Tired, slumped in a chair in the dining room in his vest and boxers. He actually looks like he’s pushing seventy, the way he’s bowed over his cup of coffee.]

[Arrow, wandering somewhat in a daze, eventually finds himself in the kitchen. Moving automatically, he pours a cup of coffee into a mug and stands in the corner of the room. He makes no attempt to drink it, but just stands with the drink in hand, staring into nothing.]
