[Well... That sure did happen. After Swackhammer is done ranting about his terrible group of hostages, everyone is free to explore the surrounding area. But true to his word, it still seems to be heavily under construction, and any areas not on the map are surrounded by giant walls. Have fun with your two small areas of Moron Mountain (just be thankful you have clean underwear).

You don't seem to be entirely alone in this park either, as you will find one other employee if you search Swackhammer Avenue well enough.

Not exactly the most populated park, huh?

But hey, you can exit the park at least! Except the only thing they'll find is a seedy hotel in the dense fog. After searching, most people will come to realize that this is your living quarters, what with the bios that line the front wall. But hey at least you know you have food beyond hot dogs and smoothies!

Not unless you're talking about people wearing costumes. But it's not that weird for animals to just talk either, right?

I'm pretty sure animals don't talk. ...I guess maybe they've just never talked to me before that bus showed up, but I think if that was a thing that happened more people would know about it.

Well, as my friend once said, perhaps it's more that some people don't know how to listen. [A pause] Although I don't think Wabuu is an ordinary raccoon either. [He hops like a kangaroo, that's pretty weird.]

...That actually makes the way he was talking about his axe a little worrying, now that I think about it.

Well...it shouldn't be too big an axe, right? Otherwise he wouldn't have the strength to carry it. [Unfortunately raccoons do have people hands to hold axes with.]

I wouldn't think so, but I'm not sure how strong he actually is.

[Appearances can be pretty deceiving, apparently.]

He said it got taken from him when he got on the bus, anyway. Same as my swords. And Kubo's shami- ...shamisen? His instrument.

Yeah, it's probably best he doesn't have an axe for now.

[She nods.] And like I informed you previously, they took everything in my backpack. [She's been slowly trying to find stuff to keep in said backpack so that it feels more familiar.]

Yes, that's actually still very confusing. I can understand confiscating weapons, but why books? ...unless they were worried about you hitting someone with them, but there's enough here you could. You know. Just do that with anyway.

They took Kubo's instrument, too. Maybe they just don't want us to have anything important from home.

I think Kubo said he could fight with his instrument, somehow?

But your idea does make sense, if they want us to. You know. ...be desperate to get out.

Well, even so, we'll do our best not to fall for it. And at least I still have my backpack. [So she can carry around her collection of Stuff.]

If we all work together to get out on our own terms, we can just take our things back that way anyway. There's really no reason to trust them and do what they want.

[She nods.] That's right! We can't fall for whatever tricks they have!

And anything they try could actually be just a trick, they've already resorted to kidnapping.
