[Come Saturday, Penny is still sporting the gloves she acquired after the trial.]

[If you're hanging around the Fortune Teller's tent at the right -or wrong, more likely- time, you might encounter her marching in with a sour expression and forcefully slapping a paper sign over the crystal ball. Too bad if you're watching something about home.]

[The sign reads-]

This thing is bad and lies, don't pay attention to it. >(

[And Penny herself, by way of explanation-]

...It's bad and the things it shows can't be real.

[Yeah, that'll cover it, thanks Penny.]

[Later on in the day Penny is investigating the Tunnel of Love, on the basis that it's dark and sort of spooky and probably in pretty bad taste considering that the closest they've had to official ships so far have all been broken up via murder and execution. She's got a tiny keychain LED flashlight from the gift shop and a determined attitude, that should be enough, right?]

[If there's some kind of walkway beside the boat's path, she'll take that, carefully, sticking nervously to the wall. Otherwise, she's eyeing the boats with extreme caution, weighing exactly how much she wants to explore this part of the park.]

[As Penny's investigating the Tunnel of Love, she will notice what appears to be an emergency exit.

... And someone seems to be peeking out from behind it.]

[Yeah, she's gonna venture a little further into the tunnel towards that exit, still clinging to the wall as much as possible.]

[Her mind hasn't exactly leaped to "mysterious inky person" yet, she's still at "someone I know is already exploring here."]

[Well you might notice something is off by how the figure slams the door the moment Penny says "hello". Wanna follow him?]

[Yeah, she's following, shuffling over to the door as quickly as she can and pulling it open.]

The door seems to lead to a backstage area. Nothing too big to note beyond some props to some attractions in he Carnival.

More importantly, the figure is continuing to run away, towards the Hall of Mirrors.]

[Well obviously if they're evil or something she's going to at least WANT to beat them up, do you want her to lie?]

[But yeah, booking it as fast as possible towards the hall of mirrors.]

[And the chase continues!

You can definitely see them in the mirrors, and how they're using their trenchcoat to hide their face. IN the very least you know they're still in the building, but it might be easy to get lost if you're not careful.]

[Fortunately her superior robot senses- yeah, no, she's as prone to getting lost as anyone, but she's doing her best to try following the actual noise of trechcoat guy as much as her sight.]

Do you work for Mister Swackhammer?! I promise I won't tell him I saw you!

[The voice seems to be pretty close by.]

[Gandhi just happens to be in the hall of mirrors when they rush through.]

G-Spot! Try to catch him, but be careful! I think he works in the park!

[The figure, meanwhile, attempts to shove Gandhi out of the way as he runs past.]

[The figure doesn't have to shove very hard to knock the toothpick over.]

[Maybe he'll try tripping them?]

[PENNY USED TACKLE- no, not really, but she's gonna put on a burst of speed as Trenchy McCoatson shoves at Gandhi and maybe gets tripped?]

[It works! The figure trips over hard as they hit the floor.

They however waste no time as they try to scramble to get away from them.]

[just clings to them and shrieks like some kind of bald koala]

[Okay, yeah, NOW she's gonna try to tackle this guy, if she can. Hopefully without also crushing Gandhi. That would be an embarrassing trial all around.]

[Success! The person is flailing blindly, still keeping their face covered]

[They're suddenly cut off as the person starts coughing violently.]

It- showed a big Grimm attack, on Vale. But that couldn't possibly happen, the kingdom's defenses are too strong. Especially with Mister Ironwood and the army there.

[frowns] So, they made... movies? Of our homes? Why would they do that?

Because they're wads.

[There might be other reasons beyond that, but let's be honest, that's what it boils down to.]

True. It can't just be that, though. Maybe that's supposed to be a motive.

I don't think Mister Swackhammer is smart enough to come up with a motive like this. Maybe King Dice decided to- what do they call it, "show initiative"?
