Final Trial

[After everyone is done investigating the rooms, they will hear a faint creeek from the mansion’s entrance. Once they heads towards the noise they will discover a set of stairs leading to the basement that definitely weren’t there earlier.

Once they head downstairs, they will find themselves in a long hallway that seems to stretch out forever. It doesn’t, luckily, but eventually the hallway ends at a large empty room, with just a throne in the center.

The living guests will immediately realize they're not alone because King Dice is here already laying across the throne and smoking a cigar. He grins at the survivors and stand up.]

Well congrats, kids! I must say I’m impressed that that you managed to get down here alive, considering who was leading ya.

Now, I’m sure y’all have a lot of questions about what’s going on but I gotta settle something first:

[He looks directly at Michael.]

Mikey, I believe we have to finish our arrangement now.

... Well they probably think I'm dead anyway, I can already tell you I'd be grounded for life if I just came back perfectly find except now I take drugs.

Maybe? My father's been pretty mad at me sometimes, I'm not even supposed to go out anywhere without some kind of guard- but it'd be better than being stuck in a dumb foggy murderpark with stupid rides, wouldn't it?

And do you really trust King Dice to just- keep it free? He's already making you do stuff for it, sooner or later he's- I don't know, probably going to ask you to start killing people for it or something.

I mean, if he just brought us here to kill us you basically already have.

We're- ...a lot of us- ....SOME of us are just kids, too. Or were. I mean- I know I'm NOT, really. For a lot of reasons. Sometimes I kind of wish I could be? But- even if that were possible, for me, I don't think it would be possible here, for anybody.

...Don't you want to get out of here, and. Go someplace you really can just be a kid?

I don't know, I don't even know if I can go back.

You could try? And- I mean, if your home doesn't work out, I guess there's a bunch of other worlds where you could try starting over, where no one would have to know if you didn't want them to? I mean, if it were me I'd want to at least try seeing my father and friend again, but- just about anyplace has to be better than here.

[He trails off, seeming to be uncertain what to say.]

We can't make you- ...I mean, we probably could, but we won't? But- you should think about it. ....Though we might not have more than a few minutes, so. You might want to think quickly.
