FINAL TRIAL

[When everyone is done investigation, they will hear a mechanical whir as the Doombuggies start back up again. (Best hurry before Heihei and Tarzan's corpse get away from you guys.) When they get back into the Doombuggies, they head back into a tunnel before they meet up again with both groups. Finally the Doombuggies roll to a stop once again and the guests will find themselves in the graveyard, just like every Friday when they had a trial.

The graveyard looks just as it has been, except now there is a knife chained to each tombstone in the circle. This is including the tombstones of your dearly departed, so don't worry if you wanted to have a different formation for the final trial.

And, as always, there is a new epitaph for Jiminy Cricket.

Here lies Jiminy Cricket
So deep in despair, he couldn't think
Got what he wanted and went out with a drink

And don't worry if you're not sure where to go from here. As everyone gets situated to their podium, they'll see someone familiar entering.

Why don't you all tell us what you found?

[Wendy steps forward, resting her bundle on her tombstone and undoing it carefully.

Inside it are... voodoo dolls, almost 26 of them, each one baring a resemblance to the group. The others, team A might find on some of the members of team B.]

Our passageway took us to what I think was the host's bedroom. Mike found these in the cabinet.

Interesting. We found what we can only assume is that one's disgusting abode. [Jerking his thumb at Oogie Boogie.]

There's one for each of us? Any...any pins or anything in them?

Ugh, really? Well that's a bummer. [Which is the least she can really say about that.]

Sure is, one for each of us, including that fat guy that got his head chopped off. [She reaches into the pile and produces... Ford's doll, and Mcguckets.]

There were pins in all the people that died, and... trust me when I say that these things really work.

[Ford realizes with a pang what those dolls are, and his expression grows very sober.]

I believe you. It wouldn't be the strangest thing I'd seen.

...If they have that kind of power, we should. Get rid of them, when we're done here.

[He says, having propped his oar up against the headstone he's standing at and clearly still holding the Maui doll.]

Safely, so that no one gets hurt.

[Ford frowns, considering that.]

I don't know if there is a safe way to get rid of them. But regardless, we'll figure something out.

If anyone can figure it out it's you.

[A soft, but confident smile.]

I also found a dartboard...

[ She shows the picture of Walt. The darts, she places on her tombstone. ]

And beneath this one, there was another picture... but the only thing I could see from it was what looked like black hair.

[Interesting. He'd have expected that to be in Oogie's room, not in...Not in Beau Blood's room. But there's a whole lot they don't know about their former Host, it seems.]

What was wrong with the photo? Was it burnt, or water-damaged..?

It looked like it had been ripped down.

That's unfortunate. It might have been useful as evidence if it were more complete...

I couldn't find the rest of it... I don't think the others did, either.

Also found this cassette tape. [he waves it] Buuut no way to play it, unless you guys found something.

Actually, Elsa found a tape recorder. We can listen to it, if the tape isn't damaged, that is.

--Seriously? Well heck, let's give it a go!

[He hands over the tape--it says "HELL'S BELLS" on the label]

Elsa? May we see that tape recorder?

[Ford turns over the tape in his hands, studying the label for a moment. Someone is an AC/DC fan.]

Of course.

[She... doesn't know how to work it, so when she shuffles around her tombstone in the sea of death, she hands it over with the tape they found still inside. They'll have to play it anyway, so...!]

[He takes the recorder and pauses, realizing belatedly that this isn't going to work.]

This is a video cassette. We'd need a VCR to play it, Mike.

[Ford shakes his head. Apparently all the stress is getting to him.]

Unless someone has an A/V cart, we're out of luck.
