Week 2
[It's been one whole week, and no one has died yet. For someone who seemed so sure that someone would die, it seems as if The Narrator was wrong about anyone killing another person. But after awhile, the hotel might seem pretty dull. There is only so much to do in here, and if you don't enjoy books and old board games, it's hard to keep you entertained unless you like marathons of Muppet Treasure Island.
But you can keep this up, right?
24 guests remain.]

SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
{OOC: Don't forget to turn in your Week 1/Intro AC! Since Peace Week is over, Tuesday and onward are currently locked for the upcoming motive. Everything is going to change soon}

Library - INVESTIGATION
[Sally is REALLY EXCITED when a newspaper about a 'spider man' pops out of the penny machine, and she takes it to the library to read all about the hideous half-man, half-spider's rampage! Imagine her disappointment when she flips to the article and sees a picture of the creature. It's not very scary at all!]
...How can he be a spider man when he only has four limbs?
B
[Tossing the newspaper aside, Sally starts to peruse the library stacks. It's been a week and nobody's had much luck solving the mystery, so she takes it upon herself to
strangle everyone else in their sleepsearch for clues. And a spooky library full of occult tomes is just the place to find a secret! Like, say, a hidden passage?Anyone coming by the library will find Sally systematically tugging each book on the shelf. She's not removing any of them, she's just... pulling on one, pushing it back, then moving on to the next one.]
A
[Virgil takes a look at the newspaper and at the creature. Well! That's...certainly something he knows about!]
Oh, that. I think it's because this is a man who was bitten by a spider. If a spider got bitten by a man, then it'd have eight limbs.
[What nonsense are you talking about now, Virgil]

[Apparently, the kind of nonsense that makes perfect sense to Sally.]

People sing songs about the spider man?

Spider-Man, Spider-Man / does whatever a spider can / spins a web, any size, / catches thieves just like flies / look out! / here comes the Spider-Man
[The joys of knowing about fictional superheroes]

'Catches thieves'? Oh, so he's a hero and not a rampaging monster! Now it makes more sense.

[Virgil flicks the corner of the newspaper]
Except the man who owns this newspaper. He's always trying to make Spiderman look like the bad guy.

But as soon as Oswald passes by the library room, and spots what Sally's doing, he had to stop and regard this whole situation.]
...Looking for clues, eh?

[.....]
Well, I'm sorry, but there's gonna be a problem with that.

[Or. Much at all, really.]
Except for some books that might've been read recently.

Perhaps it is a stage name.

I hardly doubt those penny dreadfuls are given much more thought beyond the moment ink touches the paper.
