Week 2
[It's been one whole week, and no one has died yet. For someone who seemed so sure that someone would die, it seems as if The Narrator was wrong about anyone killing another person. But after awhile, the hotel might seem pretty dull. There is only so much to do in here, and if you don't enjoy books and old board games, it's hard to keep you entertained unless you like marathons of Muppet Treasure Island.
But you can keep this up, right?
24 guests remain.]

SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY]
{OOC: Don't forget to turn in your Week 1/Intro AC! Since Peace Week is over, Tuesday and onward are currently locked for the upcoming motive. Everything is going to change soon}

Thalia stares at one of the prizes she receives and then just snorts and shakes her head and yells at the ceiling: ] Really?! A typewriter? For the dyslexic girl? Real funny, haunted hotel! Reeeeal funny!
[ Honestly she doesn't seem mad about it, just a little incredulous.
Or, if you don't want to run into her right when this lovely moment of restraint happens, she'll be in the dining hall, with the things laid out, looking for whoever might own them. Flagging you down, potentially. ]

Library - INVESTIGATION
[Sally is REALLY EXCITED when a newspaper about a 'spider man' pops out of the penny machine, and she takes it to the library to read all about the hideous half-man, half-spider's rampage! Imagine her disappointment when she flips to the article and sees a picture of the creature. It's not very scary at all!]
...How can he be a spider man when he only has four limbs?
B
[Tossing the newspaper aside, Sally starts to peruse the library stacks. It's been a week and nobody's had much luck solving the mystery, so she takes it upon herself to
strangle everyone else in their sleepsearch for clues. And a spooky library full of occult tomes is just the place to find a secret! Like, say, a hidden passage?Anyone coming by the library will find Sally systematically tugging each book on the shelf. She's not removing any of them, she's just... pulling on one, pushing it back, then moving on to the next one.]

Monday evening
[Since peace week is over, that means murder! Well, maybe not this early, but if you go into the game room, there's something amiss. Or someone.
There's a headless body slumped over a chess set, blood down the back of it's shirt. Investigate?]
Lobby
[If you didn't find the first body, you might have found the second! Or rather half a body, as the other half is under a couch. Investigate?]
'Trial'
[Maybe you know exactly who did this and want to confront him. He's not hard to find, he's just in his room.]

Tuesday
MOTIVE: Walking Distance
[The Narrator is already in the library when the guests come down to see what’s going on.his expression is neutral as he speaks.]
I see most of you have adjusted to living into this hotel quite nicely. But this situation is very serious, even if some of you only think this is all just a game to make fun of.
[A very, very pointed glare at Tadashi.]
Because of this, I have been told that the deal needs to sweetened, and encourage those who would otherwise be unwilling to end the life of a fellow guest.
[He clears his throat.]
Every one of you here has had something bad happen to you at some point. Something you regret. Something you would do anything to make right. So, a deal has been made. Kill one of the guests by Friday, and you will get the exclusive opportunity to change one thing about your past. The change can be as small as asking your crush out or as big as saving your hometown. The possibilities of what we can fix about your life are truly unlimited.
You have until Friday to decide if taking the deal is worth it.
[And with that, he vanishes out of sight.]

Eventually she ends up back in her room. The door doesn't always close (since she kind of broke it her first day here) so if you want to come bother her in there she's just watching Muppet Treasure Island. Again. For the fifteenth time.]

Later on, he's taken to pacing in the lobby back and forth, hands behind his back. He seems deep in thought about something. Sometimes, he's standing in front of the fireplace, staring into the flames, other times he's trying to peer out the window... he's kind of short.
Even later on, around the evening, Oswald's drifted to the Game Room where he's set up one of those strange games before him. Anyone that's passing by will get him ushering them towards him.]

His last trip will end up with him forgetting to close his door all the way. Anyone who comes in will find it a mess. Paper everywhere, the bed unslept in. Dipper chewing on his shirt as he fights sleep... It's doubtful he's found anything with how furiously he's writing, erasing, and re-writing a sentence over and over again... Wanna disturb him?]

COAT CHECK INVESTIGATION
In the end, though, he ends up sitting on the counter, rubbing his paws over his face. Ever get the feeling you're going nowhere, fast, and you're running out of time...?]
no subject
He occasionally skims the coat room, disgusted with the options and largely sticking to his personal suit by and large. He hates having to wear and clean his own stuff, but he has presentation to consider.
Otherwise, he's almost entirely spending time in the library. He's not a fan of the occult, but its important for a billionaire to keep his mind busy. Granted, normally he paid other people to read the books for him and give a summary. When in Rome.
He typically sticks to the informational books, but he gives a few spooky tales a try. Anything to stave off the boredom in this place.]
