[It's been one whole week, and no one has died yet. For someone who seemed so sure that someone would die, it seems as if The Narrator was wrong about anyone killing another person. But after awhile, the hotel might seem pretty dull. There is only so much to do in here, and if you don't enjoy books and old board games, it's hard to keep you entertained unless you like marathons of Muppet Treasure Island.

But you can keep this up, right?

I'd be a little worried that whatever religion the person followed doesn't allow cremation, but I guess if you're already down to just a heart, it doesn't really matter anymore. We can give it a Viking funeral or something.

Do you want to try asking our host for the means to do that or should I?

Neither. [bristles] I don't want anything from him. Whatever we do, we can do it by ourselves.

Fair enough! I'm sure there's some matches around here somewhere that we can use anyway.

Will just a match do the trick? Or will we need something to get it going? [she's never burned a body before help her weirdly knowledgeable guy]

An accelerant, yes. I doubt the hotel owner would leave anything heavy duty like gasoline and the like lying around for patrons to get to, but alcohol can do in a pinch.

I'm not sure we even have anything like that... [pauses] ... This thing is probably gonna start rotting soon, isn't it.

Why are there body parts in there to begin with? Aren't machines like that supposed to give prizes?

Well, typically a penny press is supposed to give exactly what the name implies: pennies with some kitschy design pressed into it.

[But nooooo we get the one with body parts in it instead??]

... I honestly don't understand why anyone would want that to begin with, but that definitely sounds better than corpse parts.
