Week 2

[It's been one whole week, and no one has died yet. For someone who seemed so sure that someone would die, it seems as if The Narrator was wrong about anyone killing another person. But after awhile, the hotel might seem pretty dull. There is only so much to do in here, and if you don't enjoy books and old board games, it's hard to keep you entertained unless you like marathons of Muppet Treasure Island.

But you can keep this up, right?

[What about the shadow that's falling over him...?]

He notices the shadow finally, watching it warily.]

W-Who's there?

[The shadow moves, the floor creaking ominously as... Sally appears out of the darkness, a tray with a mug of hot chocolate in her hands.]

Oh! You're not dead after all! I made some hot cocoa in case you were cold.

[sneezelikeakitten]

[Uhm... he stands up, the smell of the chocolate quite tempting.]

Why would I be dead? I was just working. Wait... what time is it?

[darnsitall]

It's 11pm!

I know a few people who worked so hard that they forgot to eat and then they starved to death, that's all!

[She sounds awfully cheery about people starving to death.]

.... yeah, I would have eventually gotten something to eat.

[Eventually.] There's nothing funny in that hot chocolate, is there?

Not unless you think marshmallows are funny!
