[After everyone has finished investigating the horrendous death of a poor dog (and also a couple of disasters who somehow gotten themselves killed, everyone will hear a loud click from the direction of Superstar Studios. A few moments later, the Agent’s voice is heard.]

Ok that’s enough rehearsal there! Time for the show! Everyone break a leg okay?

[As everyone enters the Studio, the first thing that hits them is the blinding lights, making it impossible to see anything for the first few moments.

Once their eyes adjust, they’ll realize that they are definitely in a really tacky movie studios. There are some cheap cardboard cutouts of monsters and city skylines, cameras that look pretty out of date, and the whole place looks like it was built on a shoestring budget.

In the middle of the studio there are rows of directors chairs for every guest that woke up here, with Rod, Ghost Host, and Stan’s chairs just knocked over. In front of them stands the Agent, grinning in an extremely uncanny way.]

I’m impressed! Three bodies is impressive after that first week of nothin’! I’m gonna make sure that culprit gets an extra special reward if they manage to get away with it.

[A small pause, then:]

Okay, my shining stars. You all have to figure out who killed your fellow actors so they don’t get away with it! If they do, they get their reward while everyone else will be punished instead.

There’s no set time limit, but make sure you don’t make it borin’. The cameras are rolling and I ain’t going to let the people watch another boring average reality show!

[Well it's Friday now, the deadline for the Agent's motive. And, well, it's much better than "you get snacks if you kill someone" and we've had someone literally murder for that in another game so being coy about it seems moot.

Still, none of you guys know about that, so maybe you think no one will take the bait?

Well there doesn't seem to be anything off in the Mansion! At least yall don't have to wake up to a bloody mess next to you today! Count your blessings.]

[You wake up, confused and with a vague feeling like you were just doing something important. Try as you might, you can’t exactly remember what important thing you were involved in. Your mind is fuzzy, like someone had wiped your memory shortly before you woke up here. Have fun not remembering what happened in the past 24 hours.

Regardless, there is a more pressing issue of the fact that you have no idea where you are right now. It certainly seems like they’re in a dressing room of some sort, and while it’s on the small side, it’s definitely comfortable enough. Still, it’s strangely empty, and the only sign of where you are is a strange map of what appears to be of a studio.

A few minutes after they wake up, a cheery, albeit clearly pre-recorded, female voice is heard through the speakers placed throughout the building.]

Welcome guests, to The Great Movie Ride! We are pleased to announce our new attraction in this ride, and we are so glad you were able to test this out with us! Please meet in the Wild West soundstage at noon to begin the show!

[When you leave the room, it seems more and more like you’re on some weird movie set. When you leave your room, you’ll notice that along the doors in the hallway (it seems like there’s a lot of dressing rooms here), 26 stars are adorned in front of them, with the names of the people currently residing in them printed on. When you leave the area, you will find that every single other room seems to be a set of a random movie genre, from the aforementioned Wild West room, the Gangster Movie room, to some Sci Fi Horror room.

There also appears to be a room themed around The Wizard of Oz, for some reason? This is the most inviting room out of all of them, however. There are even tables of refreshments and free desserts in this room!

Beyond that, most of the would be fake buildings in the various stages are actually useable. You can use the Saloon for a quick drink, or you can enjoy a movie at the theater in the Gangster Movie room.

But you might have bigger things to worry about than a stiff drink. There are 25 other people here, after all, might as well socialize with them and see if they know what’s going on.]

[You find yourself waking in a large dressing room, incredibly spacious, but in intense disarray. The bed is comfortable enough, and each room seems to be equipped with a working bathroom and shower, so it's at least livable. But aesthetically, the place has hit the floor.

The horrifying clock
mounted on the wall reads 9 am. After enough searching, you'll find a large tourist-y map of the studio on one of the dressers. An ominous note attached to the map with a paperclip reads "12PM WAITING AREA". It's not like you have any choice in the matter, seeing as there doesn't seem to be any way out.

Upon exiting the dressing room, you note a crooked star attached to the door bearing your name. There are 24 others like this, bearing names that you may or may not recognize. A quick tour around the studio reveals it to be in a similar state of disrepair, but something doesn't sit...right with you. Though the place is certainly creepy, you get strange vibes as you explore the building. As you move about the dust-filled halls of the abandoned building, you may spot movement out of the corner of your eye, or hear strange noises from behind you. It's nothing to be worried about, though...right?

At the very least, you'll find some comfort. The projection room and attached theater still seem to be in working order, though you'll have to manually grab one of the reels off the wall and start the thing yourself. In addition, the waiting area and lounge are both filled with reading materials, and the later features a large stage and a microphone. The commissary seems to replenish itself with food whenever you take your eyes off of it, ensuring that we won't be going hungry anytime soon. There are also cabinets full of ingredients and a small kitchen should you not trust whatever your benefactor is placing out for you.

Fortunately for them, the smaller individuals amongst your party won't find a great deal of difficulty moving around. Though their beds remain oversized, there seem to be appropriately-sized staircases and escalators placed about in appropriate spots, so as to make their lives easier. After all, they can't just keep relying on the others to get up to the cabinets and such, can they?

While you're waiting to find out what the deal here is, you might as well come out and socialize.]
